We had dinner at the Yungaburra hotel when visiting the area. It is a lovely place based on a historical hotel, surrounded by locals and families. Comfy food and generous portions. There’s buffet on Saturday’s nights for 25 dollars, and live music.

Stayed in Jungaburra for three nights and the only mistake we made was not eating there for three nights. Food was great and cheap, service perfect and the interior takes you back to the old days! Loved it!

This grand old hotel is looking tired, feels tired and smells tired but the food was terrific! Good portions of freshly cooked food, salads, breads and vegetables - all excellent and a credit to the chef. Any pub that is popular with motorcyclists who ride...More

The Yungaburra Hotel is the pride of the Atherton Tablelands, attracting visitors with its Federation architecture and displays of historic photographs of the area's early saw milling days. The hotel was built More in 1910 with the coming of the railway, and immediately became the hub of the region. Visitors marvel at the timber facade and interior. Cedar and oak are everywhere around the hotel. The local timbers make an attractive and durable structure. No cyclone could ever harm the Yungaburra Hotel. The art deco extension to the hotel, built in the early twenties, is just as beautiful as the earlier section. The hotel boasts 30 rooms, two bars, one of the Tablelands busiest restaurants, private function rooms, and an enchanting garden. The hotel is especially popular with families and couples who come up from the coast for a night or more to cool down and relax. At 720m above sea level, the climate is mild and refreshing. Less
