Three of us stayed for three nights in Birdwing Cottage in mid-May. Secluded, and surrounded by lush vegetation, this spacious, comfortable, very well-equipped cottage had a deck (with bbq) overlooking remnant rainforest. The slow combustion heater kept us warm in the evening, there was a large spa bath in the bathroom, air-conditioning in the two bedrooms and a washing machine...

Our family of 4 stayed at Birdwing cottage in April. It is a beautiful cottage perfect for 4 with all you need for a great stay including a well equipped kitchen and laundry and a great deck to sit on and look over the bushland. There is a walking track down to the creek which has a walking path and...

We enjoyed an all-too-short stay at the Bushland Cottages in beautiful Yungaburra. The 2 bedroom Birdwing Cottage was spacious and had a lovely home feel about it. Surrounding bush is scenic and the walk along Petersen's Creek was pretty despite the very dry conditions that the Tablelands are experiencing at the moment. Great place to stay, close to everything, not...

We loved the location and the short walk to town shops & pub. Beautiful untouched bushland with lovely gardens. Plenty of room and we even had some friends over for dinner one night. Highly recommend for comfort and cleanliness and just lovely to stay in.

The Lodge provided the perfect opportunity to do some lazy birdwatching from the comfort of the lovely outdoor area. Privacy, quietness and magnificent bush surrounds with the native plants in full flower, it was a honeyeaters smorgasbord at the Lodge! It was so very relaxing in front of the chiminea at night too. A really beautiful place to relax.

This is a great little place in Yungaburra. Everything you would need for a family stay. Great big bath, and wonderful views. Only a short walk to platypus viewing and into town. Nice little extras like some chocolate and candles. It was a great place to relax. Recommend %100

Have recently spent 2 nights staying in The Lodge on a "girls" trip. The Lodge, while not luxurious, had everything we needed, was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We didn't light the fire in the loungeroom, but did enjoy sitting outside around the fire with our wine and cheese! This is a great place for a family group. The...

My partner & I recently had what has become an annual holiday to the Tablelands. This time we decided to stay in Yungaburra as the township is quiet, yet still has a few really nice restaurants and some lovely specialty shops to visit. We stayed in the Birdwing Cottage and found it to be spacious and well appointed. I particularly...

Two couples stayed in Birdwing for 5nights. The cottage was clean, cosy, comfortable, and perfectly situated for a quiet getaway. It is on the edge of bushland, and 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. We walked through the bushland to Petersons Creek, and saw platypus each evening, and two Tree Kangaroos on Day One. Also saw bandicoots, snakes...

We spent a week with family in the Birdwing Cottage and it was just wonderful. The cottage is well equipped - plenty of cutlery, plates etc. It is a beautiful cottage - well set up and a joy to stay in. Very comfortable and it was great to relax in the spa. The positioning of the cottage at the top...
