Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Terrific facilities. Great happy hour and sunsets. Wonderful drive through sites with lovely gardens on each side. We left some items of clothing on the clothesline which they posted back to us at no charge. Terrific service!

We stayed here for 3 nights with out son and his family during the Film festival. Very spacious park site - drive through site with nice garden around our site. The facilities were clean. The park had a brilliant view at sunset wow for the one we saw. They also had a fire pit at night were they told yarns our son said he liked it and there were a lot of people there! The only thing I mark down was the park is on septic sewage and because the park was full they needed to get the sewage pumped each day we were there - my oh my the stench was really unpleasant - but they did need to do something about the back up in the toilets. I'm thinking they may need a bigger septic tank system to prevent this. The park is 2 kilometres out of town! Due to bad in usual weather for this time of the year we found we needed to come back to the park after 3 nights in Longreach and we weren't able to travel the road to Birdsville. All caravan parks were full in Winton. But to the credit of this park although they were full we're trying to accommodate us (because we mentioned we had already stayed at their park only a few days ago)in the shed. We decided against that idea and travelled on to Milliton but were grateful for them trying to accommodate us but more so on the advice of not going off the bitumen as the black dirt was very boggy! We did see a few people were bogged. Thanks for the local knowledge and all the best.

Ash and Jack were great hosts at a great caravan park. All sites are drive through and have established green gardens between each site that act as a privacy screen. Amenities are unisex but separate cubicles for each shower and toilet. There isn't an on site dump point for your toilets but there is one being installed as the park is expanding so shouldn't be to far away. There is a dump point a short drive away in town. The sunsets and the night shy are priceless and included in your site fee, free of charge 😉 Fire lit every night and Ash gives a great historical story of the Winton township and district. Make sure you have a long lead, mine wasn't long enough to reach my van point, they came through with the goods and had a long one I could borrow. I wouldn't count on that, I was just luck they had one I could borrow. We will be back forsure

Room Tip: Long power lead and make sure you empty your toilet in town before arrival.

This place is 2 Klm north of town, nothing around then this little oasis pops up out of nowhere. Each caravan site is divided from the next with a lovely hedge of brightly coloured bougainvillea for private, convenient drive through sites if you are only staying one night, very reasonably priced, we would stay here again.

All sites are separated by gardens. Amenities are modern - Ladies they are unisex! Adequate laundry and good line space. Reception was excellent and pick your own space. Could suggest a camp kitchen to be included in their expansion plans. Well done Jesse and Cathy.

Situated just a few minutes drive out of Winton, this park is amazing! Every site is drive through and there is a garden bed and trees between each site for privacy and separation and sites are clearly numbered. Amenities block is Unisex (all is the one building), though ladies and men's toilets are separated by the 8+ shower rooms. Extension plans are underway, with a 2nd amenities block and dump point to come. We immediately booked an extra night! Will definately recommend to anyone looking for well priced, safe and comfortable caravan park.

This is a fantastic park. We have travelled to Winton many times and decided to use Wanderers on this occasion as they were the only caravan park who responded to my emails/phone call. Excellent customer service and great park facilities. Very clean and tidy with sunsets to die for.

All the caravan sites are powered and drive-through. Each site is screened by the adjacent one by a wall of plants. The unisex ablutions are excellent. The park is quite new and needs a couple of things: A sign along the highway announcing the park and a camp kitchen. Apart from that, it is a fantastic park.

Great newly established caravan park located only 2km out of town. Clean unisex amenities which actually worked well for us trying to shower with a baby. Reasonably priced and very friendly and welcoming at check in. Large drive through sites separated by pretty garden beds. Cement pads at all sites.
