Rolling into town, unorganised, not realising the festival was on. Called into this busy pub, the guy behind the bar was happy to help us get sorted with a site. Showers, toilets, power, water, some shade and FREE washing machines for $30 (!!) gives my review the 4/ 5☆. This park was exactly what we needed for our overnight. Just a short walk to the public pool was an added bonus and amazing on the 37°c day we pulled in with hot kids in tow.

The hotel meals are of a large size and the fact that Winton is remote the prices are very reasonable for what is an excellent quality meal. I opted for the Lamb Shank and just how large this was caught me by surprise, and it was presented with a lovely assortment of vegies including brussels sprout. Menus are varied and something for everyone, and can be found on the tables but there is also a Specials Board inside, and staff are very friendly and efficient and keep the tables cleared and cleaned!

The Caravan Park is centrally located and right opposite the Tattersalls Hotel where we were checked-in by a friendly server at the bar. Our van site was right next door to one of the clean Amenity blocks which was so handy for the FREE washing machines! Yes, the park was dusty with limited shade, it doesn’t have a dump point and Winton’s water does smell of rotten eggs but this is part of being in the outback. The van park was so handy to shops and dining outlets that we walked everywhere. Had a number of meals at the Tatts Hotel which was very busy and extremely popular.

Foul undrinkable water. No facilities in amenities for placing your personal belongings. The soap dispenser in the ladies was empty on arrival at 1500. They fixed that when I reported; however it was empty again by 0500 the following morning so obviously not big enough to cater for the size of the caravan park. Need to use a key to access the amenities. Good TV reception. No camp kitchen. Cost $30 for powered site.

A lovely dinner at the Tatt’s. I phoned in advance to ask if/what the vegan dinner option/s were, and was pleasantly surprised to hear a yes, the veggie stir fry is vegan! My partner had the special of bangers and mash and I had the stir fry. Portion sizes were great, the food came out very fast, and it was relatively busy Friday night with plenty of people dining. The staff were pleasant. All in all, very happy with our meal. And so grateful to see a vegan option available in the outback, thank you Tatt’s, very much appreciated 🙏🏽

On first appearance the park looks dusty but we parked the van on gravel and had grass for our awning area. The amenities were clean and great hot showers. Free washing machine. The pub was just across the road and we had a great meal. Shame we didn’t go back the second night but tried another pub! Would stay again

This pub was recommended to us for dinner. It was a good pub with speedy service and friendly staff. It didn't have some of the same character as others pubs did and the meals were fairly standard pub food. It's still a good place to go for a pub feed though.

Stayed in the Tattersalls Caravan Park for 3 nights. Went to the Waltzing Matilda Museum, the Age of Dinosaurs, and drove the one hour plus to see the stampede. Well worth the drive. Great town. Also went to the outdoor cinema which was lots of fun. The only issue we had was the fact that we were given a key for the amenities block, but not once was the door ever closed. It was ALWAYS wide open, which I found was a bit confronting especially at night. (I closed it every time after leaving). But it was great, and would definitely stay there again as it is in walking distance to everything.

Found it really nice and quiet with good level sites. Easy check in at the pub and were were able to get on site pretty early which was good. It's also right in town so very easy to just wander around to get meals, coffee.
Would definitely recommend staying here. Next time, we will stay longer.
