Fantastic accommodation in interesting and lovely old Winton. Owner Lisa has decorated it all perfectly. Cottage is at rear of the property, parking at front door. Shady private rear deck and outside garden area tranquil after a big day out. Having Washing Machine and clothesline on deck was brilliant. So easy to do a much needed wash cycle and clothes dried fast out in fresh air. The beautifully decorated kitchen, lounge/dining, bathroom and spacious bedroom in the cottage all comfortable and relaxing. Very well done. We were in Town for Ages of Dinosaurs, which was outstanding, but Winton is a town with a lot to see and do. We walked down to the Winton Hotel on the corner of Cork for an excellent Dinner. Great Staff and food. Tattersalls Hotel old and Stately. The Star of the several excellent hotels in this small town is the huge North Gregory Hotel. Beautiful architectural detail throughout and the Artwork and decorations by Daphne Mayo are stunning. A lot pertinent to Banjo Patterson playing Waltzing Matilda first there. The Staff-member we met was delightful and helpful. Matilda’s Wardrobe across the road had an abundance of fantastic clothing, accessories, everything. Lisa advised on many less obvious Tourist places and sights.

What a delight to arrive to these home comforts and cleanliness after a hot 9 hour travelling day.

We stayed in 1 bedder Steadman and its easy to see how much this place is loved.....wonderful home decor touches, all classily applied.

Fresh bottled water and LUXE toiletries are all value add and very much appreciated.

Do yourself a favour when next in Winton.....you won't regret it.

What a place, Muddy Cottage was fantastic. Lisa met us with a smile that lit up the sky, she was amazing, so friendly and helpful. The cottage was immaculate, very homely, she has spent the time to make it look warm and inviting. After a long drive this is just what we needed. Asked her about the pubs then we were off. Will definitely be back and would recommend Cottage on Cork to anyone visiting Winton. We actually wanted to say in 'Steadman's" because there was only two of us but it was booked so Lisa gave us a two bedroom for the same price which shows the class of her as a person. Can't praise this place enough, please visit you'll love it..

We stayed at Muddy Cottage for three nights and would thoroughly recommend it. We were met on our arrival by the proprietor, Lisa, who made us feel extremely welcome. Throughout our stay we found her wealth of knowledge about the area and recommendations for places to eat very helpful.
The cottage itself was clean & well appointed with lots of room to move around.
We had a great time.

We have recently visited Winton & stayed in Steadman Cottage for two nights. Our friendly host, Lisa, was helpful in making sure we were able enjoy our stay. The cottage - one of the four Cottage on Cork - was very clean & comfortable. Having the privacy of the fully equipped kitchen, we could cook up breakfast & start the day at our own pace. We’re happy to recommend Cottage on Cork!

We have just spent two nights at Steadman Cottge and cannot be grateful enough for the hospitality both Lisa and Robert had given us from the moment we phoned to book to the time we left. They provided us with information on what to see and do around the region and provided us with information on the best route to get us to our next destination.Robert even made phone calls to people in other towns to help us with information on road closures. The cottage itself was spotless, homely, private and extremely comfortable. Great location walking distance to the Main Street if you feel like a stroll. Thank you Lisa and Robert for making us feel so welcomed.

For bigger families or groups who just want lots of space, this can't be beat! We had a whole well-appointed cottage for the cost of a motel room. There was plenty of space for the four kids with two bedrooms, a lounge room, and a full kitchen. Thanks again for the nice stay. There was even a free washing machine.

After hours and hours of travel on our road trip from Uluru to Brisbane, seeing that beautiful comfy clean bed and even some bikkies in the pantry means a whole lot. The cottage we stayed in had everything (and I mean everything - 3 air conditioners!!) washing machine dryer full sized kitchen. Even had an outdoor table for entertaining and a fire pit (I think).

The owner was lovely and made a point to come up to us and greet us personally - even after checkin time.

Thank you so much for helping make our road trip a comfy one.

The Laffin cottage was a fantastic stay. So comfortable, relaxing with character. Great location to everything. Our host Lisa and her husband Robert were amazing. Thanks for making me feel at home with watering the lawns. Love the afternoon drinks on the front deck. Would highly recommend staying here, especially if you have pets as our little man loved the yard.

Travelling as a group of four we could not get any other accommodation in Winton and we were lucky to find Cottages on Cork. We stayed in Harfield House which sleeps 6 people. Two double rooms and one room with two single beds.
A lounge dining area, separate kitchen and eatery, large bathroom, outdoor area and verandah. REally nicely decorated and nice touches to make you feel welcome. A short walk to the Winton Hotel for dinner. Perfect place to stay in Winton.
