Had a 4 night stay in Camelia Cottage. Charming, comfortable and peaceful. Enjoyed the walks into town along Quart Pot Creek. We also purchased the pamper package and enjoyed it thoroughly. I can't add much that the other 5 star reviews haven't already said. Highly recommend it and hope to come back again in the future.
Diamondvale Cottages are our favourite place to stay for our Granite Belt getaways. The little complex is so close to town but you could be in the middle of the bush (in fact you are). Wallabies and birds a plenty. We love to stay in one of the 2 bedroom cottages. Room to spread out. A full kitchen plus coffee machine.A fire (already set when we arrive - just needs a match). Verandahs to sit on and relax. Comfy furniture. Immaculately clean. The new owners (since March 21), Rachael and David have worked wonders and are wonderful hosts. Diamondvale is a great place to base ourselves for day trips to vineyards and providors or for a bushwalk. We've been visiting the area for years and have settled on DVC as the best in the district.
What a lovely weekend getaway at Diamondvale Cottages! Hosts, Rachael and David, made us feel so very welcome, they went above and beyond for us, and their attention to detail was amazing. With all the sweet added touches, the cottages felt homely, comfortable, and were very clean. The property is just stunning, situated right on the creek. It is so relaxing to hang around the gorgeous grounds, taking in all the nature and wildlife. Rugging up by the fire was a real novelty. We stayed with little kids, it is close to town and plenty to do. I will be recommending to friends and family, and will be back for sure! x
All the comforts you could ask for including a fireplace which was welcome warmth & coziness in the cold. We loved the location and the quiet area, just close enough to town. We will be back and have already suggested it to family & friends.
Diamondvale Cottages are situated in the most delightful setting. It is quiet, peaceful, refreshing, relaxing and seeing the kangaroos feeding and jumping around morning and late afternoon, just added to the charm and made you realize what a special place had stumbled upon. Rachel was so helpful from the very beginning and did lots of research with Qld Health to ensure we could still travel etc. She was so efficient and helpful in every aspect. We stayed in Camelia Cottage which had everything we needed. Anything we did require just took a message to Rachel and Voila - it was attended to or query answered. The Heritage Trail from the cottages into Stanthorpe was such a lovely experience; close enough to everything but yet far enough away to be peaceful. The cottage had everything from coffee pods to a toaster. Highly recommend a getaway any time to Diamondvale Cottages!…
