Chris and Lynn and Scout the beautiful spaniel dog gave us a very warm welcome and after a friendly chat escorted us to our cabin which was fresh and clean the fireplace was set ready to light, The fridge was stocked with all fresh local bacon, eggs, and cheese And the best home made rocky road. We booked a half day guided wine and brewery tour with Roxane from Wild Cat Tracks which Lynn suggested which was great value.we really enjoyed our stay there Thanks Chris and Lynn.

This is a perfect location to stay for a Granite Belt winery tour and sightseeing weekend, with a very scenic lake and garden surrounds.
Lynne the host was very helpful providing good information about the area for things to do and places to eat. The cottage was supplied with ample facilities, very clean, neat and tidy inside and out.
Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We selected these cottages because of the beautiful gardens, but we received much more throughout the stay. The cottages are well-appointed, very comfortable including the beds, and sufficiently separated for good privacy but close enough to meet friends. The breakfast was excellent and more than what we needed for a 4 day stay and the kitchen has all those little extras from cling wrap and foil to spray oil and condiments. Chris and Lynne are great hosts just like long-time friends and had some great recommendations on the wineries and eateries nearby. DVD and CD players are there with some discs, but ideal to bring your favourites. It was very had to say goodbye to Granite Gardens and the Stanthorpe region until next time!

We've just arrived home from a brilliant stay at Granite Gardens. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by lovely Lynn and Chris, we were happy with our choice.
The accommodation was wonderful... spotlessly clean with modern, quality finishes.
The fridge was stocked with bacon, farm fresh eggs (yes, you can taste the difference) orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, muesli bread, cheese and bickies... even some of Lynn's home made Rocky Road :)
The bed was super comfy, shower and spa bath were awesome, kitchen cupboards had everything you could possibly need. Even fluffy bath robes were provided
We had breakfast on our veranda, looking out at the lake. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay...kangaroos, wild bunnies, lots of birds and a long necked turtle in the lake
All in all, one of the best weekend stays we've had anywhere. Thank you Lynn and Chris

We spent 2 wonderful nights in a beautifully fitted out, self contained cottage. Everything was at our fingertips and the amenities were first rate. On arrival we sat out on the verandah with a gorgeous platter of cheeses, dips and savouries - accompanied by a delicious bottle of wine. The setting was gorgeous and the rural tranquility made it a real break from working day life. Thank you Lynne for your wonderful welcome and hospitality!

We just stayed at Granite Gardens and I highly recommend to others wanting a peaceful and luxurious stay. Chris and Lynne are wonderful hosts and happy to help in any way possible (there was even delicious Rocky Road in the fridge for us!). The breakfast hamper was very generous as were many other little touches that ensured you had everything you need to really spoil yourself in their stylish private self contained cottage with a cosy wood fire and beautiful gardens, we were even able to include our beloved pet dog Cooper as well in our stay which was lovely. Thank you so much Chris and Lynne we will certainly return:)

We were looking for.a Bed and Breakfast In Stanthorpe and found this little gem.
It was cold when we arrived from the Sunshine Coast but, our hosts Lyne and Chris quickly made us so warm and comfy.
The breakfast and snacks were lovely.
Forgot our toothpaste and brushes but, these guys went out of their way to accommodate us.
Loved the cottage, so comfortable, the robes were a blessing, I have since recommended the cottages to my friends and family.
Also the homemade rocky road was a hit.
Very happy.

Chris and Lynn were wonderful hosts (as was there friendly little doggo). Beautiful location - SO quiet... and the lack of 4G on the property made us disconnect (which we really needed) Great breakfast supples ands daily top ups of the firewood, good proximity to everything Stanthorpe has to offer whilst keeping you off the beaten track so you can enjoy the silence.

I you want a quiet couple getaway, Granite Gardens Cottages and Lake Retreat is the ideal choice. Chris and Lynne were wonderful hosts and had no objections to the inclusion of our small dog joining us. We wanted a place to celebrate our fifteenth anniversarywhere we could see the Granite belt sights and wineries with a bit of seclusion and Granite Gardens ticked all the boxes. With only three couple cabins there is never a time you feel as though other guests are in your space. We've stayed in various "couple" accommodation's in Australia and overseasus, but Granite Gardens leaves most wanting. For us I think we have found our goto when we need a break from the city lights.

We had a lovely friendly welcome from Chris & Lynne, who provided great local produce waiting for us in the fridge and kitchen.
This is a beautiful spot for us to relax and the best part is dogs are welcome too.
We stayed in the MacPherson Spa Cottage which was where we were last visit. Clean, with fully equipped facilities included that so needed wood burner and electric blankets for those cold Stanthorpe nights.
Be aware that the signal is not great for internet, which is good and bad.
We will be back.
