From their phone service at booking, to checking in, the service provided here is exceptional. Close to town and central to all surrounding tourist attractions, rooms extremely clean and sound proof, awesome hot water and water pressure, comfortable beds and all room appliances and needs catered to. Exceptional customer service. This motel has it all and we Highly recommend it.
Knowing we were arriving late on a motorbike the owners even turned our heater on in our room to have it warm for us to arrive to. Definitely our new home away from home. Thanks for a fantastic experience

The High Street Motor Inn is on a main road but cannot hear the traffic at night. The motel section was very comfortable with tea, coffee facilities. Bathroom modern with all smelly toiletries - very nice. Room service was very good.
The attached Aussie Beef Steak House 'Licensed Restaurant' is definitely a 5 star rating restaurant. Thank you Shannon for making us feel comfortable with your excellent service with your smiling face & compliments to the Chef for the tender steaks to die for....... We would have had Sticky Date Pudding but couldn't fit it in lol :) We will be back ♥

On route to Brisbane from Tamworth. Very tired and in need of dinner and bed. High street motor inn was reasonably priced, comfy and the new owners Alan and Kylie, young parents who have just taken over who have great back from in Hospitality were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Perfect stay over enhanced by top quality Steakhouse attached to motor inn. Highly recommend both.

This motel is very close to main part of town. The rooms are very clean & spacious, staff very friendly, grounds are also great. They also have a steakhouse attached to the motel, would highly recommend you eat here, meals are terrific. It’s a good place to stay it’s not far from any of the attractions.

First night in small room was less than good. So paid extra for family room next 3 nights so much better. Super clean, good shower (but water pressure morning rush is low but that seems normal all motels), good base to explore granite belt wineries.

O’Mara pub best for meals in town. Good steaks etc
Toaster sets off alarm so we kept door open.
Road to Ballandean so many stop start traffic works adds hour to journey. No warning of this in tourist news.

Worth the money good value
Lovely clean and quiet place to rest your head.
Comfy beds, easy parking, couple mins from shops and Main Street.

We stayed here just recently on a road trip. The hosts were lovely (and I especially loved the dog Charlie (?)). The room was warm, clean and comfy. There are no whizz bang modern perks but they weren't required. The onsite restaurant was lovely; staff were friendly and food was wholesome and hit the spot.

We stayed 2 nights in a comfortable room. Ours was small but there are options in twin rooms and family rooms for that extra space. Conveniently located a few minutes drive from Stanthorpe. Delightful hosts and a really nice restaurant.

We stayed at this lovely little motel again last night. Simple but very comfortable rooms and great hosts. The steakhouse on site is a gem. Cosy atmosphere with great steaks and good local wine. The night was made extra special by the kind and attentive service given to us by the lovely Chelsea. She did not miss a thing, a hospitality natural with a great future in the industry.
