Just a very pleasant experience. Cottages are very well appointed, bed is really comfortable, sought a softer pillow which was arranged quickly. lovely environment on the dam, good little heater with plenty of wood. very generous breakfast supplies. Would have no hesitation booking Quaffers again.

Perfectly appointed self-contained 5 star accommodation, with everything you could possibly require and then some! Beautifully designed cabins with comfortable modern furnishings and spacious. Exemplary level of cleanliness. King bed was exceptionally comfortable with electric blankets fitted. Just beautiful. Surroundings are so picturesque and so very peaceful. Relaxation guaranteed sitting by the woodfire enjoying locally sourced wine. Could easily have stayed for a whole week. Thank you to our amazing hosts Deb & Paul who are just beautiful. If you are thinking of staying in Stanthorpe, we highly recommend Quaffers on Storm King. This place ticks all the boxes and more!!!! ♥️

Just got back from another wonderful stay at Quaffers. It feels like a home away from home. Paul and Deb are the loveliest hosts. This was our 2nd Easter stay and the kids look forward to the bbq and bonfire night they put on over Easter. All cabins we have stayed in have been consistently well maintained and luxurious. They’re all so spacious and areas well proportioned. Location couldn’t be better for exploring the region and wonderful restaurants like Balancing Heart Winery where we had pizzas one night. Thank you Deb and Paul. We look forward to our next stay.

Quaffers is in a quiet location about 10 minutes out of town. The cottages are very clean and comfortable and we had a very restful stay. The cottages are well spaced and very quiet. A good breakfast is included. We will definitely be back.

The cabin's at Quaffers on Storm King are first class accommodation in the Aussie bush. No expense has been spared in fitting out these modern cabins. Many appliances and utensils to prepare a home cooked meal. The cabins are about halfway between Stanthorpe and Ballandean, so not far from wineries.

We stayed for two nights at Quaffers and loved it. Very friendly reception by Debby and Paul at arrival, and lovely private cabins. The cabins look brand new and are well decked out. Very comfortable bed, and overall comfortable place to stay. Cabins are spread out over the property, so loads of privacy- you won’t hear a thing from others. Location is good, as it is only 10 minutes from Stanthorpe, but also close to the National Parks (Girraween, Sundown). There is direct access to the dam, and they have some fire cages setup, so that you can have your own bonfire at the lake. (In addition to the fire place in your cabin).

Staying at Quaffers gave us the opportunity to feel like we had completely switched off from our busy lives. Cosy modern cabin with a fireplace, ingredients for breakfast and everything provided we could ask for. We enjoyed visiting the local wineries in particular lunch at the Barrel Room Ballandeen Estate (make sure you book) which is not too far up the road. In the other direction we visited Stanthorpe and other local areas which provided a great day of discovering local eateries, cheese factory and Suttons apple farm. Balancing Rock and granite arch at Girraween National Forest are a must do as is the Ballandeen pyramid! Will look forward to coming back again. Thanks for making us feel welcome Deb and Paul.

We had a simply wonderful 2 night stay. We were greeted by Deb & Paul, who were so friendly and welcoming. The communication prior to our arrival was outstanding and every part of our stay continued to be just as good. Our cabin was really great. Their attention to detail is outstanding. The breakfast provisions were waiting for us in the cabin. Everything was clean and well thought-out. We cant wait to stay again. Thank you for making our weekend Amazing.
