The staff member was very pleasant and gave us an early arrival which was appreciated. While we were there my husband noticed that the door to the garage was broken so rang to tell him.who said he'd fix it. . As it is advertised as a luxurious apartment and it cost $450.00 per night we did not expect to find that the lights in the kitchen did not work, nor did the lights on the stairway which was dangerous. We also found that there were very few utensils or appliances in the kitchen when we went to prepare our dinner. However it was convenient and easy to find.

The accommodation is really nice but not roomy if you want to park larger cars in garage and lounge is small but cosy. Our unit had disabled bathroom which housed the spa which was roomy but door ways would not suitable for larger wheelchairs. The units are short drive from centre of town but not walking distance.

This particular house "LOUIS" at the Atricom complex was ideal for our family as we are all in our 70's and this was all on ground level. It was spacious, clean, well appointed kitchen, and close to the High Street for shopping etc.
Heating worked well for which we were grateful as it was a cold Stanthorpe weekend, showers great. Beds were comfortable and warm.

Six of us stayed in a four bedroom villa. Our friends claimed it was more like a house. Very comfortable and close to town. Very modern too. Some slight damage from previous use and lounge had seen better days.

Self contained fully furnished house essentially! Clean, modern,
comfortable, huge tv, wi fi, close to town centre, easy to find, even easier to check in and check out and excellent communication from the owners/management (Thanks Tony)

We stayed with 7 people total in 4 bdrm/2 bathroom apartment and it was perfect. All of the guests agreed we had the best accomodation at a very affordable rate and we would have no hesitation in staying again for our next trip to beautiful Stanthorpe.

Also appreciated the extra little things - biscuits, bottled water in fridge, tea & coffee.

The photos don’t do Atricom any justice, very large space perfect for families and big groups travelling together!

Highly recommend! Thank you!

Atricom Damon #5

Ok grab a cuppa and keep reading and remember this place was in booking.com and classed as luxury apartment ,yes it's like that! I did bring a few of the major things to their attention

Positives
Yes I did check reviews before booking ,always do

1.First glance outside and inside very nice and big
2. Very quiet ,situated just outside town
3 .views of mountains
4. Beds were comfy
5. Rooms clean and nicely made up
6. Bathroom in back was clean
7. Good initial communication to me about key under mat and about security code not working

That's it folks now comes the Nitty gritty and no I'm not being picky, advertised as luxury I don t expect the following

1. Informed wifi wasn't working,ok we can deal with that
2. Front door security entry code lock wasn't working. Informed key was under mat.can also deal with that
3. Oven wasn't working, grill works tho but no heat when oven is on,yes we had all the dials on correctly
4 Broken lock on one window In bedroom
5. When we arrived All windows were unlocked or open behind curtains. back door unlocked
Side passage door open and unlocked
6. Asked in txt and thru booking.com about aircon not working.no answer until I txt 3rd time next afternoon
7. Stove top has missing light for on/ off.
8. Cracked tiles on kitchen floor and laundry.
9. window sills and screen doors have never been dusted for ages,we noticed build up when we had to open windows because of no air con and fight our way thru cobwebs inside and out
10. Tiled floors have some kind of cleaning or dust film over them, cleaned with a dirty mop,can see swipes on floor, our foot prints and other ppls shoe prints we could see in dust film on tiles.
11. Cupboards over oven need cleaning there is oil based build up when you open the doors
12. Couldn't get oven to work. Had it on 175 with fan forced, after half hr it was still cold so we used the griller in the oven to cook dinner.
13. Wanted to use spa bath but dirt rings still on tub which I cleaned and when jets were put on ,hairs came flowing out so we decided against that one.
14.we had to empty the wet washed towels left in machine and we put them in dryer
15 someone put washing powder in the agitator top compartment, that didn't work! That part was only for fabric softener not washing powder!
16.candle wax has been spilt on top of tub near tap and never removed
17. mat under dining table has curled making it a tripping hazard.
18. All smoke alarms had a green display light except one in very front bedroom
19. Aircon filter was filthy with dust.havnt been cleaned for ages.
20. Cobwebs galore over back screens and and windows in bathrooms etc
21. Dirty dishes in pantry we rewashed
22. No hair dryer as in a motel.
23. no bin in bathroom
24. No evacuation emergency procedures on doors
25. no fire blanket in kitchen or anything for emergency.
26. Kitchen benches weren't clean still had dried food residue on them
27. An array of small and large rocks sitting in middle of back patio in a pattern
28. Filter in dryer needs emptying it's full
29. Main bedroom ensuite at back , globe missing in heater fan lights and has cobwebs and thick dust all in it
30. Few marks and holes in walls, behind front door hasn't been painted at bottom or repaired and not painted
Finished your coffee already?😁

Although it's a nice area and a big house ,the amount we paid for it for being "luxury" when we had quite a few things not working and had to clean the bath and empty the washing machine got a bit beyond a holiday stay

Nb A nice lady came the next afternoon to check and found that the AC was turned off outside. We now know why, the remote doesn't do anything so the last ppl must have turned it off outside . She managed to get the remote to work after a few tries after discovering it was turned off outside, but when she left it wouldn't turn off or change temp. IT was pretty much useless. We just opened doors and had a floor fan on
Wasnt a pleasant way to welcome guests and call it luxury and charge over $245 per night.

Sorry I've done enough of your housekeeping in this holiday house. washing, bath cleaning, dishes.

Please get some trained cleaners in to give this place a good once over with attention to detail.

I think whoever cleans this house needs replacing. sorry
If this house wasn't up to scratch and classed as luxury, god knows what makes anyone think it is a luxury accommodation.
Bedrooms are nice and clean, comfy beds, carpets clean, furnishing is nice and tasteful but having silver curtain rods with a bit of sparkle on them isn't luxury. These things need to be rectified. ac needs total replacing or overhaul.
It's a house not apartments. A 4 bed house in a complex

Had a 2 night stay for a family wedding

Everything inside appeared fine however on closer inspection we noticed a lot of dust and cobwebs. The first morning I woke up I found a huntsman in the toilet and that night before bed I found a different type of spider on our bed! Left the dead spider sheets in the laundry and grabbed sheets from spare bed

The tv in the lounge room had a blown colour tube and the leather lounges, whilst they look funky, were very firm and uncomfortable

Many vineyards around, I will be opting for that next time

Booked four bedroom apartment for a girls weekend in the wineries and found the apartment very well appointed for our needs. We did however visit on a very cold weekend and our air conditioner froze up and wouldn’t work. So we had one heater for the whole apartment which was a bit chilly.
