We stayed at the park for our Easter long weekend. Not our first time staying at Pelican Rest but our first time camping. Great facilities, plenty of space and welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back for Easter 2023.
Our little Cabin was attractive, very comfortable and efficiently set out. The Managers were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The Park is tidy and attractive and close to the Town Centre. A local Hotel had a Free Bus Collection and Drop Home Service available for Dinners. We were happy with the kitchenette facilities in our Cabin and ate in. Easy. During our 2 night stay in St. George we experienced extreme weather early evening and thru the night and we were surprised at how snug and safe we felt inside whilst gale force winds and rain pelted down outside. We considered St. George a lovely town and it is close to some very interesting old very tiny towns. Recommend driving to Thallon then Nindigully and having a Pub Lunch.
The park is spacious with lovely grassed sites and plenty of trees. Amenities are spotless and the hosts very helpful. The camp kitchen has everything you need and it is kept spic and span. Very glad we stayed.
Have stayed here before. Good park. Nice surroundings with grass and lots of trees. Clean amenities. Drive to everything but still handy. Good camp kitchen with fire. Had trouble with our van and gentleness super helpful with supplying us with silicone and offers of help.
We stayed 3 nights on powered site. Really spacious sites, loveky grass. Amenities are great they even have 2 hair dryers in there. Nice camp kitchen which we didn’t use. They have a fire place set up in kitchen. I had a look in family cabin looked very nice. A beautiful park and delightful managers. Marion was delightful.
Lovely caravan site. Grassy and spacious and we could stay hitched. Stayed 1 night. So quiet. Clean amenities. Would def return. We had to wear masks as QLD had COVID cases. But that was ok. No issue. I can highly recommend. The park is well maintained.
Lovely caravan park, approx 1.5 km from town (easily walkable). Nice spacious powered grass or slab sites, clean amenities and lovely pool. Local pub will come and pick you up and take you back if you have dinner. Would definitely stay again.
Great little place to get a cabin when you have a small dog. Very clean and inviting. Lovely surroundings with a fabulous pool. Nicely kept and green. A little way out of town but it is a pleasant drive.
It was o.k. though we had difficulty with ABC TV reception that kept breaking up disappearing. We gave up trying to get it back. Light sleepers be aware this is on a main road and the traffic noise starts early in the morning.
We stayed here for 4 nights camping. Facilities excellent - beyond expectations - clean, great camp kitchen, showers and toilets excellent, great camp kitchen, friendly owners, excellent value for money. Not busy after end of school holidays.
