Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this accommodation service, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter. Despite providing a substantial 46 days' notice to change my accommodation dates, I found their inflexibility and lack of understanding to be extremely frustrating. My attempt to explain that I couldn't adhere to the suggested dates due to my children's crucial appointments fell on deaf ears. Heather, the person I dealt with, proved to be unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. Her responses were far from accommodating, and instead of providing assistance, she chose to be dismissive and unkind. To exacerbate matters, attempting to discuss the situation over the phone proved futile. Each time I called, I was met with an unprofessional attitude, with the call abruptly ending on their end. This lack of willingness to engage in a constructive conversation only added to the overall negative experience. Taking my concerns to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) was my last resort. However, even in this forum, Heather demonstrated a blatant disregard for compliance, refusing to cooperate with their inquiries. This behavior raises serious questions about their commitment to customer satisfaction and adherence to regulatory standards. In summary, my advice to potential customers is to exercise caution when dealing with this accommodation service. They appear more interested in taking your money than ensuring a positive and customer-friendly experience. Despite claims in their cancellation policy, my personal encounter suggests a concerning lack of willingness to assist with moving dates, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and out of pocket.

We were travelling with two others couples . The park is very spacious and lots of drive through sites. Only a few minutes drive to town to get groceries. The pool is very clean and heated. The amenities are immaculate with lots of showers and toilets. We would definitely recommend this park for a stop over ,lots of shade trees to sit under and relax after a drive to your destination.

Yes it’s small but apart from a corner cupboard that doesn’t quite hinge out properly there is a place for most things. functional. And it’s very modern and clean which is a refreshing change after staying in many old outdated cabins. We were able to stow away our many small shopping bags in the storage unit next to the bed. The sun was blazing into the window behind the bed when we arrived - there are block out curtains but no blinds which means that the sun might get you up very early. The bathroom shower has a screen door & towels, facecloths & hairdryer are supplied. However it is impossible to wash you face or even brush your teeth at the bathroom sink because of the oversink mirrored cabinet which should be replaced with a flat mirror to solve the problem. Lovely bed linen. The owners were away on holiday when we stayed but the woman who is looking after things gave us a warm welcome.

Great park just outside of town. Got one of the remaining cabins and it was a studio but very small. Very clean and tidy. Amenities really good and clean and user friendly. Bed very comfortable. Sorry we didn't get a larger cabin but they were booked out. Would stay here again any time we go south.

Our Cabin, Yes it was a tad dated but so what, as the older style cabin we weren’t located next to the “Truck Highway” as the others were but in a quieter area approximately 3 or 4 rows back. Appears to have plenty of space around caravan sites & the kitchen / bbq / fire pit area appeared to work well. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or to recommend it to others

We enjoyed our night at Pelican Rest. The sites are very large and easy to access, and they were flat and grassy. The amenities were clean and the park backs onto a lovely open area and you don't feel closed in at all. We will definitely come and stay again next time we are in St George.

So sorry I've forgotten the lady's name at reception. She owns the 2 birds. Lovely lady. Helpful & chatty. Easy check in. I had cabin number 4. Nice cabin. Even though it backs onto the highway it wasn't noisy. I slept well. I have a long 4WD, plenty of space for it. Sunrise, literally at my font door. Pool & area looks awesome and pool is heated, but I wasn't going in it as it was about 4 degrees when I was there. Brrr. Park looks well presented. I would stay here again and I would recommend it. Loved the towels, nice colour and good quality.

We had a cabin and found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. The location is handy to the town centre and other tourist spots. The staff are friendly and a living with advice and assistance. The grounds are neat and tidy,, with plenty of room for children to kick a ball.
