Detailed Reviews
We stayed for one night and had the family cabin (2 bedrooms) and a smaller cabin (1 bedroom). The beds were comfy, the curtains kept out the light and the showers were clean. The family unit kitchen was a bit squashy for seating six adults (only meant for 2 and 3 children), but we managed all the same ;). The one bedroom cabin was amazing, I could watch tv from the bath tub :), the kitchenette was well equipped and it was also clean and tidy. The location was lovely - green, leafy, quiet and having a veranadah to escape to and horses to pat, helped give people a break from each other. The staff were helpful and welcoming.

Our little Cabin was attractive, very comfortable and efficiently set out. The Managers were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The Park is tidy and attractive and close to the Town Centre. A local Hotel had a Free Bus Collection and Drop Home Service available for Dinners. We were happy with the kitchenette facilities in our Cabin and ate in. Easy. During our 2 night stay in St. George we experienced extreme weather early evening and thru the night and we were surprised at how snug and safe we felt inside whilst gale force winds and rain pelted down outside. We considered St. George a lovely town and it is close to some very interesting old very tiny towns. Recommend driving to Thallon then Nindigully and having a Pub Lunch.

Yes it’s small but apart from a corner cupboard that doesn’t quite hinge out properly there is a place for most things. functional. And it’s very modern and clean which is a refreshing change after staying in many old outdated cabins. We were able to stow away our many small shopping bags in the storage unit next to the bed. The sun was blazing into the window behind the bed when we arrived - there are block out curtains but no blinds which means that the sun might get you up very early. The bathroom shower has a screen door & towels, facecloths & hairdryer are supplied. However it is impossible to wash you face or even brush your teeth at the bathroom sink because of the oversink mirrored cabinet which should be replaced with a flat mirror to solve the problem. Lovely bed linen. The owners were away on holiday when we stayed but the woman who is looking after things gave us a warm welcome.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this accommodation service, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter. Despite providing a substantial 46 days' notice to change my accommodation dates, I found their inflexibility and lack of understanding to be extremely frustrating.
My attempt to explain that I couldn't adhere to the suggested dates due to my children's crucial appointments fell on deaf ears. Heather, the person I dealt with, proved to be unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. Her responses were far from accommodating, and instead of providing assistance, she chose to be dismissive and unkind.
To exacerbate matters, attempting to discuss the situation over the phone proved futile. Each time I called, I was met with an unprofessional attitude, with the call abruptly ending on their end. This lack of willingness to engage in a constructive conversation only added to the overall negative experience.
Taking my concerns to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) was my last resort. However, even in this forum, Heather demonstrated a blatant disregard for compliance, refusing to cooperate with their inquiries. This behavior raises serious questions about their commitment to customer satisfaction and adherence to regulatory standards.
In summary, my advice to potential customers is to exercise caution when dealing with this accommodation service. They appear more interested in taking your money than ensuring a positive and customer-friendly experience. Despite claims in their cancellation policy, my personal encounter suggests a concerning lack of willingness to assist with moving dates, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and out of pocket.

Great park, friendly staff and great value for money. The kids loved the heated pool and went for a swim everyday even though it was winter. They also loved the cows, horses, sheep and lambs in the field next door. The amenities were clean and the grounds were really green with lots of trees and grass van sites despite being in outback Queensland.

It was o.k. though we had difficulty with ABC TV reception that kept breaking up disappearing. We gave up trying to get it back.
Light sleepers be aware this is on a main road and the traffic noise starts early in the morning.

The Family cabin for 4 or 5 would be a bit tiny. It's comfortable with decent kitchen - no oven- but pretty good. The table seems to be in the middle of a hallway, but as needs must I guess. The family cabins are on the Carnarvon highway which in July was fairly quiet.

Lovely caravan park, approx 1.5 km from town (easily walkable). Nice spacious powered grass or slab sites, clean amenities and lovely pool. Local pub will come and pick you up and take you back if you have dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Airconditioned cabins are very comfortable and clean. The artesian pool is the best in town and a good depth. Lovely gardens and trees around the caravan park. Drive thru sites. Lovely town. Visited Riversands winery. Information centre has lots of local gifts to purchase at reasonable prices.
Nindigully Pub 40 Klm drive from St George definitely worth a visit.
The St George public pool is heated but disappointingly only 0.9 metre deep.
Pool temperature at Tourist Park is heated until beginning of November.
Recommend visiting Autumn, Winter, Sept, Oct. This year Nov had 35 degree days but dry heat.

Booked in over the phone, that was easy, stayed in one of the premium cabins.
The price is pretty good
The cabin is very modern and has all the mod-cons you require
Bed was a little uncomfortable, a bit hard.
It's a large park , plenty of sites for caravans and a short drive to town.

As above, you need to contact the park directly. Rates change depending on what month you are travelling. However, I do recommend them
Town is 1.8 Ks a bit long for some. Cheers Steve
