Detailed Reviews
Took Hubby for a birthday lunch in a little town called Springsure, approximately 60 kms south of Emerald. We decided on the Springsure Hotel Motel and what a find it was. On entering the Pub we were very warmly welcomed I by the Publican Greg.
We ordered our lunch (pics attached) and we both agreed that this has been the best food we have eaten in a long time. We could not fault one thing. The food was well presented and very tasty. The salad served with the fish was an old style salad with beetroot, capsicum, tomato lettuce, cucumber, onion and pineapple, not all the leaf and nothing else that most places serve these days. Also some of the best chips I have ever had.
The home made tartare sauce that was served with the fish was to die for.
If you get a chance to visit Springsure, do yourself a favour and drop in at the Pub and experience true country hospitality.

Love this pub, great atmosphere, huge, fresh, beautifully cooked meals (I had the reef and beef and I just couldn’t finish it all) Icy cold drinks. Fantastic staff, Greg the publican and Karyn the manager made us feel so welcome. Wonderful beer garden, I can understand why people travel long distances to come here. Highly recommended.

Awesome pub food in a small town - the owner certainly knows what he’s doing. Great atmosphere & plenty Locals to chat to. We had steak & salmon ... both good served with Vegas & best fries I’ve ever had in a pub!! Great night.

We stayed 3 nights in Springsure and ate at the there main places in town. For my money, the Springsure Hotel Motel gets my vote. It is not too busy, staff are very friendly with a relaxed feel. The meals are basic but very tasty, I ordered the home made rissoles and they were great, even loved the pea's in the mash potatoes (the country way). It's very different to the other pub in town, but for me it's the most relaxed.
To the Gents's you will love the posters and signs in the men's toilets.
Note: If your woke, go else where as the hummer will have your in a crisis.
I will visit again.

Dinner meals are huge and very tasty. Comfortable lounge setting in the Main Street of Springsure. Easy parking and good service. Highly recommend the steaks on T Bone Tuesday. The Garlic Prawns and the Salt and Pepper Calamari were also excellent.

What a great night!
Zander picked us up in the courtesy bus and so we had a few beers met some of the locals. Had a bloody good laugh and got some great advice on our trip. Had the cheesy bacon garlic bread and Battered Barra Chips and Salad. It was delicious.
Courtesy bus back to camp! Awesome.

We stayed for a one night stopover on our way to Longreach. After a long day in the road, we were in need of a cold beer, good steak and comfortable nights sleep. Happy to say that Springsure Hotel Motel scored a three out of three on all fronts! Thanks Greg for the warm welcome, we would definitely recommend a stay if you are out this way 😊

Springsure Hotel is a lovely old country pub with some of the best pub lunches we have ever had! Both the locals and staff including the owners were very friendly and helpful! Well worth dropping in for a great feed at reasonable prices and a friendly chat with the locals!
