Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Be aware opposite high school. Avoid arriving between 8am - 9am and 2:30pm - 3:30pm. Signposted to park on road and book in before entering park. Only one loading zone for car & caravan outside office which can be tricky as cars for school staff, I presume, parked in other spaces. But plenty space down next street (William St) and park rig at kerb and walk back to office (10 metres). Drive thru sites are via William Street. As others have stated, this park is extremely well kept, and amenities clean with deodoriser obviously used in bathrooms which also make them smell fresh. Also owner makes sure they are present to guide you into spot, which is always a bonus. Kudos to owners.

Stayed four nights in this magnificent park. What a surprise and a gem this place is. Judy and Dennis enjoy what they do and it certainly shows as it is absolutely manicured and one of the friendliest you will visit. Sarina is a lovely place to base yourselves with so much to see and do in the McKay region.
We will make this a must stay on all future visits north.

This is a very small caravan park that has everything except.... the noise!
Unfortunately, it is located just off the highway and the nightly truck noise was severe.
There are also 2 mainline railway lins and a cane train line. Noise from these lines also keeps you awake at night.
Apart from that and if you had earplugs, this is a great little park!

We were here for one night only, we had visited Sarina this time last year and felt we had seen all we needed to then. It is a pretty little town though and I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been here before. I had trouble finding the office when we first pulled up to this park and felt a little silly when I eventually did because it is on the main road but I did have a lovely experience booking in with the lady on duty. The park is very well maintained the lawns are beautifully manicured, we asked for and were given a drive through site, we were only here for one night and didn't want to unhitch. I had a quick walk around the park fascinated by the many African native animal statues placed around the park, I don't know the significance but maybe the owner is a collector. Anyway I am very impressed with this park and will return here sometime and we thought the rates were good.

We were very glad we happened upon this caravan park. The owners, Dennis and Judy, are very friendly and helpful. It was pizza night when we stayed so a great time was had chatting with the other residents over slices of pizza and some liquid refreshments.
The park amenities and facilities are 1st rate. It is all very neat and tidy and most enjoyable. Highly recommend this place

The cabin seemed OK and the price was reasonable- but - The Bathroom!! My God it would be impossible to design a cabin with a smaller bathroom. If it was big enough to swing a cat it would be a blessing but you could not fit a cat in with a normal sized person. The bed was a standard double and you need to walk sideways to get in. Whoever chose these cabins obviously never holiday toured using cabins. Apparently you are not to be trusted with an air-con remote. It's 23 deg or nothing.

Our first time here just overnight. Booking was easy and requested a powered site where we could stay hooked up. On arrival, Sandy showed us our site and helped guide us in. Very friendly and great personality. Amenities easy to find and all was spotless.
All in all, it appears that the people here put in a great effort to please their clients. Very impressed.

We stayed here for 2 nights and could've stayed longer. Lovely manicured grounds with plenty of sculptured animals to keep you amused. There were also bushes between each campsite which helps with privacy and as we have a dog, it secluded him a little. Lovely managers also who were very helpful. No pool, but one directly across the road. $36 a night.

Amenities were spotlessly clean and great showers, beautiful surroundings with great photographic opportunities with animal statues.
Very accommodating friendly management who offer assistance with parking of Van.
Worth driving that little bit further on from Mackay.

Lovely clean amenities.
The whole park was clean and well maintained. Staff were lovely. Walking distance from shops and local takeaways.

The only downside was the location oh the ‘dump point’ which was right outside the entrance to the ladies amenities.
