Located around 7kms from Roma, via Harley Lane (off the Carnarvon Highway) which was a good gravel road, the park had a great country atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming managers. Large drive thru parking bays on level ground - $25 powered site (cash only). Water & power was well set up. They have planted trees so should be shady in the future. Laundry was $5 per load.
There was a good camp kitchen, 4 mixed-gender clean amenities (toilet & shower in one cubicle) along with a beaut campfire pit for sunset drinks.
The park had an eclectic collection of old “things” around the park ranging from various types of rusted out old trucks - one was made into an interesting water feature – to a Parisian corner of old shoes, handbag and the Eiffel Tower. Amongst the painted murals there was an ANZAC remembrance rose garden – and don’t forget the animals – we saw a pig, a llama, goats, cows, chooks and other poultry.
All in all, in our view it was far better than the Big Rig Tourist Park and great value for money. Could have stayed longer and would certainly return.

We stayed one night in the family room of the on-site Donga, which had a queen and double bed, with access to our own kitchen and toilet/shower. Super clean room, kitchen and amenities. Appliances, plates and cutlery all brand new. Super affordable for a family for one night aswell, I and the kids loved the camp kitchen and the campfire at night. Great sandpit and toys for kids. Farm animals, my son loved talking to Dolly the Alpaca. The caretakers, Sally and her husband were so lovely and welcoming on arrival. Would recommend up and downs farm.

Great price, awesome stay just our of Roma. Communal outdoor rustic kitchen area and a massive firepit where everyone congregated in the evening. Clean showers and toilets, can't complain and highly recommend.

Great farm stay, very good value for money, close to Roma so going in and out of town everyday was easy. The camp host was very friendly, lots of animals at the fence on feeding time. Amenities were great, ensuite style bathrooms and plenty of them. Large camp kitchen, central fire pit which was large with plenty of wood. Great sunsets for the photographers. Will recommend to others.

Room Tip: Great spot if you want a farm stay experience rather than a full on caravan park. Great value...

After driving around Roma and checking out the van parks we were very pleased to find this spot out of town as we like peace and quiet. We were on a powered site in our camper trailer. No annoying night lights, no highway noise and really clean amenities. If you are in a van or camping, this is a great spot but it does lack shade trees so would be hot in the summer

Efficient self check in & generous site allocation. Facilities & Amenities very clean. Fire pit lit nightly for happy hour/s by Manager (Sue) ….. very warm & obliging. As a treat she did a fish & chip run (supplied by Blue Shed Fish & Chips in Roma) ) on Sunday night while we relaxed & chatted around the fire pit.
Highly recommend! Also nicest fish we have ever had.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay on a powered sites. Hosts were excellent and very helpful. We have stayed at a few on these types of accommodation and this would be equal to most. Facilities where clean and well kept. If you want jumping castles, grass sites and 5 star accommodation then this is not for you but for us it was a good choice and we would stay again.

We stayed here in early June for 4 nights. What a great place. Very peaceful & quite. Love the baby animals. Camp kitchen, ensuite style bathrooms & a laundry. Short drive into Roma. Would love to go back but next time stay longer. If you are looking for a tranquil place to relax then this is the place. There is lots to see & explore in Roma. You won’t be disappointed.

We spent 3 nights here in June 2016. It is 7kms north of Roma. It really would be a great place if they advertised it as unpowered. The amenities are excellent, so is the camp fire area. They should not advertise this as providing powered sites. The power they supply is not from proper power boxes but from leads connected to the amenities block. These leads drape across the road and cars were driving over the top of them. There were many people camped and using power, so much so that the power kept tripping. It was absolutely freezing here and everybody wanted to have their heaters on in their vans. When you book and pay for a powered site you do not expect the power to keep tripping. Our appliances did not work properly ie. microwave as it wasn't receiving the correct voltage from the dodgy setup. It's a wonder our microwave did not blow up! We honestly think this farmstay did not expect their property to be so popular and did not plan properly for the influx of people. They told us they had power problems and would have to cut down on the number of vans, well in the 3 nights we were there they welcomed everybody so I doubt this will happen. It's a great place, but we feel they are getting greedy and will just keep accepting any passing business. If you don't need power then it is a great place, but if you want power stay at the showgrounds or at the other caravan parks in town that looked very nice. It's way too frustrating having your power cutting in and out all day, especially when you are trying to keep warm. One other thing is that don't stay here if you don't like country music. The caretaker played his music very loud all day, everyday and we love music but the mournful country music did our head in. Very disappointing experience and we were so looking forward to it. We would not stay here again unfortunately.

Good Morning, if you could give me a ring to book your sites that would be great Ph 0407740252. Thanks Tania
Hello we are North of ROMA our address is 78 Hartley Lane, we have no web site but do have a face book page or you can find us on wiki camps.
You would would need to contact them directly about the vacancy. When we were there it was $20 per night for myself and my husband and they didn't charge any extra for our two small dogs.
Hope this helps
