The park location & facilities were good, but our arrival was badly soured by the very unexpected & disappointing absolute intense rage & abuse hurled at us by the female manager just after we arrived. There was no problem with the phone conversation I had in making the booking & advising that we may arrive late. As arranged, we obtained a marked envelope from the after hours box & read all of the instructions & located our parking position & we were trying to decide which direction we should park our small 3 metre van, towed by a Hyundai i30 hatch. There were no signs, nothing on the check-in notice & no vans parked near us as an example, I initially parked car first & then thought perhaps it would be best to park the opposite direction to better screen our van. Directly ahead was wide area of grass (council owned, with a drivable gutter adjacent to the council road) & no obstacle or sign of any sort to indicate not drive on it, given that my car & van combination was so small & the ground was dry & I would do no damage, I had a good look & decided to reverse my direction on the grass & drive back into my allocated spot. As soon as I moved forward a woman came running at me in an absolute "rage" I stopped & she yelled abusively I would destroy the sprinkles, I said, I'm sorry I don't want to damage the sprinklers if there's sprinklers there? I didn't argue in any way & started reversing, but she maintained the rage at the top of her voice & abusively kept yelling obout the parking direction & not to park on the concrete pad, which I hadn't done, even though there was nothing to indicate anything regarding the parking direction or driving on the grass, on any sign or on the check-in envelope. We were really flabagasted & demoralised by her aggressive attitude to our innocent mistake, in which we apologised for & didn't try to defend ourselves. I noticed about 30 minutes later that the office was open & I explained to her partner who was at the counter, that her abusive rage was totally inappropriate to the situation & that's no way to treat customers when information isn't clearly sign posted & a pleasant approach would have recieved a much better outcome from my perspective! There was not one hint of consideration on his part regarding anything I said in relation how my partner & I were affected by her rage & attitude & I left the the office stating: "I feel you haven't listened to a word I've said" & he just shrugged his shoulders, as if to say, I couldn't care less! We'll never return to the tourist park again as a result of this experience! Each of the other people in Roma we dealt with were lovely & grateful for our custom & the money we spent in their establishment's.

This was an excellent place to stay, close to town, walking distance to some tourist attractiona. Amenties a bit old, and could do with a makeover, but were clean. Staff friendly. A food van was parked out the front, roast dinner which was great a a long day on the road

e stayed in Cabin 1 which unfortunately is right on the initial bend when vehicles come into the park so we had to be aware of being on view to others arriving. The cabin is really well equipped for self catering with 2 gas burners, a microwave, a large 2 door fridge and lots of cupboards & bench space. There is a double bed & bunk beds but although the cabin is spacious the position of the bed means it's a squeeze to get into the bathroom. The bathroom itself is quite big with a shower screen door. There were no wine glasses, no facecloths and no hairdyer. The aircon looks new as does the outside of the cabin but the flooring is old and has holes in some places. Could do with a further update for the inside to match the outside but all in all we were comfortable for 2 nights and the staff were very friendly. Roma is an interesting place. Don't miss the sculptures in the park at the side of the road between the Big Rig and the Stockyards.

Stopped here on a powered site for 4 nights. Excellent location - walking distance to town and just across the road from The Big Rig which is a must see while in Roma. The park is very clean and tidy with a spotlessly clean new amenities block. The pool provides great relief from the heat at the end of the day. The managers (Dave and Sheree) make this park special - always lending a hand where needed to travellers and often going above and beyond. Sheree was also able to recommend what to see and do around Roma. We will definitely be back.

This is a great caravan park to stay. It is not too large and the managers were really helpful. The amenities are immaculate and it’s only a stone’s throw from the heart of Roma. It has a decent size fire pit for those cool evenings

Easy to find at the end of the Main Street near The Big Rig and information centre. Very friendly hosts who explained where to find good meals etc. It appeared the amenities block was reasonably new, extremely clean and great showers. We opted for an unpowered site in which appeared to be a newly established area so caravans were backed in, back to back. Some caravaners would find this uncomfortable but we were not bothered for the one night. It is a very comfortable park within walking distance to the Big Rig night show and well worth a stay.

We stopped overnight on our way to Winton during the recent school holidays. The stay was so good we stopped for another 2 nights on our way back home. We had a powered caravan site which was excellent.

A basic cabin, but all we needed for a night's stay - good facilities, plenty of bench space, a bit cramped around the bed but adequate. Basically who needs more than a hot shower, a comfortable bed and a kitchenette. We'd go back there again.

A very basic campground. Nothing fancy. A few blocks from the shopping centre which was convenient. Reasonable camp kitchen / BBQ area near entrance. Facilities were very clean and tidy. Not at all kid friendly and the park is more suited to overnight stays rather than a destination. Caravan sites mostly require unhitching. They have cabins that suit workers. I'd prefer a bit of ambiance and a more friendly check in. Reasonable but not suited as a holiday destination by any stretch of the imagination.
