This motel offers all you could want in a country motel. Our room was bright, clean and spacious with all the usual toiletries. A couple of small slip ups when it came to room servicing, but with the widespread staff shortages being experienced in Queensland, I guess this was to be expected. It certainly did not distract from the experience of staying there.

I just stayed here for 1 night as I had business to do. The motel is a bit out of the way from the main town but easy to get to by car. My room had everything I needed. The bed was nice and comfortable. I had dinner there and the meal (braised beef cheeks) was beautiful.

If you’re looking for a great rest, look no further than this. Free wifi, huge air con room with large bathroom and great shower, plenty of parking, good sized swimming pool, excellent food in their restaurant and an expansive bar selection. A very restful stay.

The incredibly nice owner was happy for us to charge our electrical car even though we weren't staying. We chilled out in the garden pavilion while we waited. Looks like a very nice place to stay - we'll be back!

Had a nice stay at the Roma Explorers Inn in Roma. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The covered car spaces would be a bonus in the summer. Rooms are quiet but the property is located a couple of kms from town.

Yes we are 1.6klms from the post office however this helps keep the traffic noise to a minimum with no trucks breaking or accelerating. The rooms are large and well appointed with good lighting options and bottled water provided. Meals were of a high standard and exceeded my expectations for outback Queensland. Sliced Avocado at the breakfast buffet was something extra that lifted the breakfast experience. The manager Jill was particularly helpful and went out of her way to solve my travel related problems.

This motel direction on gps wasn’t able to be entered, therefore was not easy to find. The motel room was very clean, quiet and spacious. The receptionist was friendly and informative. The restaurant was well run but overpriced. No lighting on the outside back to room from restaurant and no room number at the back to help find our room.

Thank you for your review. We have been operating at the same address for 17 years , so cannot understand why your GPS had difficulty finding us at 44778 Warrego Highway. We have not been advised of any problems with GPS by other guests. Unfortunately we have had massive increases in transport and price increase of food and merchandise. our Restaurant prices are competitive with the Hotels in the town. One of the more modern and spacious motels on our outback adventure. The only disappointment was the lack of cutlery, crockery, toaster and microwave. I was able to request more cutlery and crockery, but was given a tub of assorted items which appeared to have been sitting around for a while and not washed. Was restricted on what we could eat due to only having a kettle to work with.

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. Our standard rooms are basic with the usual Tea and Coffee included. We do have rooms with a kitchenette, microwave, cutlery ,crockery and toaster which are slightly more expensive. It is disappointing that staff sent to you cutlery which appeared be not washed. This is not a standard we aspire to, however obtaining competent staff here in the outback post covid is extremely difficult. The rooms were big and warm and clean but no Breakfast at all as cafe was closed Saturday took a phone call from us to find out where our room was never told there was no breakfast there at all . No WFI at all would find the inn name all it diid was go around so it was bnot good when free WFI is offered . We were not even told it may not work as Telstra where upgrading. Was not happy at all had to find some where for Breakfast as there was no list there to saywhere the best place to eat will not stay again

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our Motel. You are obviously not aware of the extreme difficulty we have in the Hospitality Industry in obtaining competent staff. All staff were made aware of the problems with Telstra and the wifi and internet service so it is disappointing you were not told. Our WiFi is free and works very well except when Telstra are involved.. Room Service breakfast is available 7 days a week from 05.45am to 9.00am. Having left Brisbane much later than I had originally planned, I gave Roma Explorers Inn a call to let them know. The fellow that answered the phone was really helpful and said he would leave the key with the restaurant. Having then missed the turn to Roma (that will teach me for chatting away and not paying attention), we were going to be much, much later - and again the staff were so helpful and said that they would leave the key in the room and they text us all the details. This took the worry of getting their after the restaurant closed off my mind. Getting into the room around 11pm, I was pleased to find a very clean room and a comfortable bed waiting. The bathroom towels were of good quality and the amenities were generous. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad either. In the country where water is a valuable commodity, it was completely understandable that the pressure isn’t what you’d get in the city. We didn’t eat in the restaurant or enjoy any of the other facilities, but given the attention to detail for everything else at the Roma Explorers Inn, I would assume they would all be top notch. The plan in the morning was to visit the Roma Saleyards for their tour - and the Roma Explorers Inn was only a stone throw away. All in all, we enjoyed our short stay and if I was ever looking to stay in Roma again, I wouldn’t look any further than the Roma Explorers Inn.…
