Detailed Reviews
Were going to stay for one night on 18 September 2017 and ended up staying 3 nights as the experience was just so good. The Owners, Robyn and Alan were very friendly and it was a true awesome Farm Stay. Basic but well and truly adequate even though they are in drought conditions. Easy to travel into Roma. Definitely would say there again.

We cannot speak highly enough of this fabulous farmstay just a couple of klms out of Roma. Alan & Robyn are very welcoming to their 1900’s farm, with powered and un-powered sites, BBQ plates, fires, shower, toilets, kitchen sink. Cannot recommend the 2.5 hour tour of the private collection that the family has amassed over the years, the knowledge and information that Alan imparts is truly wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Camped here for one night a couple of weeks ago on way out to Charleville. Hosts very friendly. We were also shown through museum by Alan even though it was technically closed for the season. The museum was very enjoyable and interesting. Strongly recommended

we went there with 5 other couples. the food varied form good to quite poor. we had rogan josh, which was good and very enjoyable. others had burgers which were not bad. one had seafood basket, which was very bad, overcooked and very oily. another had chicken schnitzel which was burnt on one side and well done on the other.

Drove in with our van looked around at the facilities and decided not to stay.Very dusty, wanted a powered site. Appalled at the 240 volt extension leads lying on the ground to various caravans, campers etc Van owners be aware very long leads cause major voltage drops which most electrical appliances do not like especially Dometic
3 way fridges...Obviously we had to drive over the leads..To the owners you are leaving yourselves wide open to legal action if someone gets a shock. There are Aust Standards for van park power boxes etc
How does this sort of so called caravan park meet council regulations ?? My bet it does not.

We had 3 very peaceful camp nights at Meadowbank. There was constant hot water due to the donkey always being alight. Fire places are provided & wood is supplied & replenished. The museum is fascinating & the farm animals are entertaining & friendly. Alan & Robyn are very welcoming hosts & a font of knowledge for the Roma region.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Powered and unpowered sites available. Hot showers, and very friendly hosts. Recommended. It is about 12 km west of Roma and suitable for camping, caravan, motor homes and fun!

We had such a great time at Meadowbank Museum and Campsite, our hosts, Robyn and Allan are third generation on this farm and their stories are endlessly fascinating. The Museum has to be seen to be believed as the collection of everything to do with farm machinery ,horse drawn vehicles, tools and the paraphernalia of everyday life through the years from early pioneering through the entire 20th Century is extraordinary. Don't free camp when you could pay a very reasonable fee to have a great experience with genuine generous people in a well organised and run facility such as this. We loved our time here.

Perfect little unpretentious park just out of Roma. Great to be able to walk around and discover things on the farm. The amenities are basic but all you need! Hosts are lovely and join in for afternoon drinks. Pricing is awesome at only $15 a night✅
