Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tracey is so helpful and friendly and kept in touch with me about my request for an extra night. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the bonus was the proximity to the Richmond Golf Club as we were playing in the Outback Queensland Masters golf. I would definitely book again.

We stayed for 2 nights in a "disabled access" room and it was a pleasure to stay in. It was a very spacious room with a queen bed and one single, tv, and tea and coffee making facility. There is no microwave. There was ample room next to either side of the queen bed to park a wheelchair, and the bed was the right height for a slide transfer at approximately 56cm high. The large bathroom has a wheel-in shower, and grab rails. There is a wheel-under sink and a left hand transfer toilet with grab rail. The unit was very clean and in a great location. There is no ramp from the car park to enter the room but wheelchair access from the sliding door at the back of the room is possible. We were able to access the room from the car park by using our portable ramp. The restaurant was closed but the Mud Hut pub is within walking distance and had great food.

Nice comfortable bed and the room was a good size for 2 people and well appointed. Despite the motels’ location right on the main highway, the road noise wasn’t really a problem.
The room was clean, the shower was hot and a good size, and Tracey on the front desk was fun to chat with.

A good basic motel for a stop over on a road trip. We had come from Mount Isa. Good size room and bathroom. Good parking at the door of your room. Easy walk down the road for dinner as their restaurant was closed. In the room is a fridge, toaster and microwave very handy if you need them

We cannot thank Tracey enough for her hospitality during our stay this month. From the initial booking to the check in, Tracey communicated with us and made sure we had everything we needed prior to and during our stay. Tracey was very friendly and we would definitely recommend staying here on your visit to Richmond, next time we are in town we will be staying here again!

Enjoyed our stay here! Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Host was lovely and very accommodating. Called her at 8pm to let her know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight, and she was very helpful with directions to our room and how to access it.

Good location too, right near the cafe and museum. Museum was also worth a visit.

Very cute little town!

Such a wonderful place we stayed at with the most kind & caring hosts who went to great lengths to look after all our needs. They did us a great feed too for both dinner & breakfast as it was pretty quiet on a Sunday in Richmond. Shame you can't book it online, and that the online photos are a bit out of date and don't really do it justice (clearly not a big issue though as the place was fully booked out when we were there)

We spent the weekend in Richmond for a sporting event. Right from when we arrived, Tracy and her husband were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. Well it was! The rooms are high quality, well maintained and the overall presentation of the complex is 10/10. We travel a fair bit for sport and this place is hands down one of the best and most comfortable. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making our stay memorable ☺️

Delightful accommodation, very friendly helpful staff, obviously taking pride in their work.
Clean, comfortable bed, highly recommend it.
They also sell some alcohol if you don’t feel like going out.
All in all a pleasant stay.

Good motel in Richmond. The restaurant was closed for tea and we had to go down the road to the local pub for a meal. They did serve breakfast to our room though which was reasonably priced. Lots of workers were here and we did hear them leaving for work in the early morning but it didn't last long. Can walk to Kronosaurus Korner from motel as it is diagonally across the road.
