My family recently stayed two nights at the Quilpie Motor Inn and we were all so happy with the amazing service! Our family of five, my cousins family of four and my grandfather all booked rooms to accommodate us and the hosts were more than welcoming and absolutely lovely!! After placing our dinner order on the second morning, we came home from our site seeing to find extra tables and chairs for us to all sit together outside our rooms, which had a reserved sign placed on it and they had also went to the trouble of placing a gas heater near the table!! We were all so touched by the effort they went to! As for the meals, there’s nothing I could have complained about. It was honest home cooking at its best that felt like something Mum would make and they were delicious. We didn’t end up eating anywhere else! Next time we are in Quilpie, we will definitely be staying here again!

Our choice of having an overnight stay here was a good choice. The necessity of having to have a room with facilities for a person with mobility issues, met all of our requirements and the owners also went the extra mile and delivered an adjustable seat for him to use. Greatly appreciated. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

Yet another fantastic stay, John and Kim are amazing hosts. Lovely clean rooms. Great location. Best barbecue area and handy to the bowls club (great feed). This is our third stay at the Quilpie Motor Inn and would highly recommend staying there.

Kim was so helpful and friendly when I booked over the phone, I feel like she made a room appear magically for our young family - phew! John just as wonderful when we booked in. Clean room, comfortable beds, warm shower, plenty of facilities and close to everything. Would happily stay again! Love the “Unstable Coffee Van” they run out the front - we enjoy places with personality.

What a fabulous place to stay! Large clean rooms, fantastic BBQ area, guest laundry with free dryer, washing powder and large clothesline. Hosts John and Kim went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were there for 4 nights with the Outback Masters Golf tour, can’t recommend highly enough.

Good location, clean, very helpful easy people to work with. I had to change my booking a couple times & it was no problem. Suitable for a couple for a night or two. Had toaster, jug etc for your own breakfast or food including microwave..

This motor Inn has comfortable accommodation. Enjoyed the split A/C . Kept the room warm at night. Laundry facilities were clean. On our last night we ordered pan fried Barra, from the Motor Inn kitchen which was delicious. Owners were very polite. Will definitely stay again when next passing through.

We had a 2 night stay here and what a pleasure. Hosts and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, comfortable bed, comfortable lounge and separate table and chairs to eat at apart from the bench we were able to use as a desk. Spacious undercover parking. Room service meals were large and delicious. Would happily stay here again if ever in Quilpie.

After a big day driving from Charleville through Quilpie to the amazing Eromanga Natural History Museum we headed back to Quilpie for the night. While the motel was not new it was spotlessly clean and most welcoming. Unfortunately the dining room wasn't open as it was booked for a group so we had to eat elsewhere. But for comfort, the beds were the best!
