Room was clean, big enough for me and my my 2 bigger kids. Very close to down town and restaurants..we had a double bed and 2 singles in our family room plus a kitchenette.. it was what we needed for our stay.

This motel may not look like the most upmarket place from the outside but it provides everything you could want for an overnight stop. It is scrupulously clean; bed linen was so new and fresh, pillows perfect. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept on. Air con worked nicely. Quiet as was the room itself. The décor may not be trendy but the fridge was new and excellent; a brand new microwave, lots of cutlery, crockery, a toaster, jug, plenty of shelf space for luggage, iron, ironing board and mossie spray. A workable breakfast eating area with 2 chairs. Good tv and well positioned. having had a stay at the Marriott Surfers before hand we were used to a bit of luxury but in fact I slept better at Kellys than at the Marriott. Double and single bed in the room. Fly screens in excellent condition. Very comfortable - and the meal at the local RSL a very short walk away topped up a very unexpected pleasant evening/night! Oh, and two very comfortable lounge chairs in the room as well.…

What a lovely surprise to find a small country Motel, freshly painted rooms, crisp linen the nicely made bed and pillows that were not dead.A very comfortable bed. Recommend this Motel highly as a stopover for the night.

Rooms were set a level above ground, very Queenslander, very well appointed & comfortable, the bed was firm which suited my back. The hotel a 2 minute walk from the motel served the best steak I have had in a while, I ordered the 350G "T"bone, the smallest available, it was still huge for me but very well cooked rare as I like! Breakfast was delicious served to the room.

Stayed for one night as planned in a clean and tidy room with a double and a single bed. Small room and a small bathroom, but everything you need exactly for what a basic 3 star accommodation should have.

Joan is a wonderful host, the rooms are kept in very clean condition and I appreciated the brand new fridge in my room. The air con was a life saver while staying in Oakey last week. Had a wonderful restful sleep for the full week I was there, the price of rooms is one of the cheapest in town and is close to Tavern where you get a great dinner. Will continue to use this facility while doing business in Oakey.

Man that checked me in smelled of alcohol and slurred. Lock on the door wouldn't work. Only way to lock door was with a chain. Belongings weren't safe if we went out. TV turned on but only got snow. Microwave turned on but just showed the number 21.10 and wouldn't do anything. Overhead light wouldn't work. Decided the place was unsafe with no lock and didn't stay the night. Female owner on phone call refused to accept any fault. Thought the chain for a lock was fine. No apologies at all. $120 for nothing! Disgusting.

Hello Briettas Thank you for your review. The man in reception did not expect to be working that night . I was called away on a family emergency. I apologise for that. When your father called 2 days after your visit I immediately checked the room. All lights were working, TV was working, microwave was working, and the door locked. We had a guest in the room the night after you with no complaints. It is very difficult to assist a guest with issues when they do not ask for assistance while at the property. 9 out of 10 times we are able to help. Our policy is to move you to another room if the issue is major and we are unable to fix it there and then. Your booking was made through an online agency and we have terms and conditions in place regarding these bookings.

We spent a very enjoyable week there while attending a local festival. Great service and well kept rooms. We had a full breakfast each day and it was hot and freshly cooked. If you are in Oakey they are well worth the visit.

Management are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and tidy and the front modern rooms are well maintained. Close to several clubs which makes for an easy walk for dinner and drinks. Great for business trip as prices are competitive.

This place is easy to find as it's along the main road. It provides free wifi but the signal strength fluctuates but it's okay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and provides enough facilities for a small family
