Stayed here about ten years ago and it was great then and still is today but they have updated at least some of the rooms. The room was large and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was fast and free. I even had dinner from the owners, hesitant at first but it was so good the first night I ordered again the second. Will stay there again when next in Oakey.

We were in town visiting friends and wanted to find accommodation near their home. The Park House Motor Inn perfectly fit the bill. I spoke with Marion via the phone when I made my booking and it was nice to meet her as we checked in. Our rooms were scrupulously clean and the amenities in the bathroom were genius. Instead of little mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner etc. there were containers attached to the shower wall so you just needed to dispense it. At the hand basin there was liquid soap also in a dispenser on the wall or a small packet could be opened. The shower had a nice rain type shower head and a mixer tap. Brilliant. There were plenty of towels, face clothes etc. There was a microwave and fridge but I didn't need to access them. I had a really comfortable bed/pillow and there were two desks to work at if required. There is split cycle air-conditioning but I didn't need to access it. There was an armchair inside and two seats outside for people who wished to smoke. The TV had access to cable TV and not just a few channels either unlike a central Brisbane hotel I stayed at recently! There were good instructions on how to access cable and the remote controls worked perfectly so I think the batteries must have been changed only a short time ago. There is a small park right next door so families with children would have a fun place to spend some time at. I wish we could have stayed longer and hopefully will be able to do so the next time we visit Oakey.…

Come to Park House Motor Inn, 27 Campbell Street, Oakey if you fancy the best fresh, grilled barramundi that is wonderful value, perfectly cooked and a huge serving. Be warned you won’t finish the also fabulous chips and salad. Lots of tradies vans and utes outside the units will give you a clue. Always try to give local businesses your custom.

So glad we chose this motel on a recent road trip. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the room was absolute perfection! It was very spacious, with good air flow, and was without a doubt the cleanest room we've ever stayed in.Free Foxtel and Netflix. The grounds and gardens were very well maintained. After a long day on the road, we took advantage of the offer of dinner in our room and the hosts delivered a beautiful meal to our door at a very reasonable price. We have no hesitation in recommending this motel and would certainly stay there again.

Very friendly owner who is most pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and very well appointed. The prices were most reasonable. If I'm in Oakey again, I would definitely stay in the motel again. It is situated on the main street but isn't noisy. The back faces the river, which is very pretty. All in all a most acceptable stay.

Freshly renovated room, meticulously clean and included all the little extras you love to have away from home - microwave, toaster, wine glasses etc. Marilyn and Allan are lovely owner operators and the morning coffee made Marilyn was so nice and a great way to start the day! Would highly recommend this lovely country motel to anyone :-)

My friend and I became stranded in Oakey when my car broke down and we were lucky enough to come across this lovely motel after being rejected by others. The owners were caring and understanding of our situation. The rooms are lovely and modern and extremely well kept for the low prices they charge. The next morning we found out my car was dead and we had to find transport to get back to Gold Coast, the couple were so helpful with and caring towards us! We couldn't of made it home safely without their help, thank you so much. Highly recommended to everyone ☺️

The people who run this little inn where awesome! And so helpful after we ended up stranded in Oakey because of car troubles! The room we stayed in was very nice and well looked after. The lady and gentlemans help was invaluable I couldn't recommend this place enough! Thank you again for all your help with our sticky situation! It won't be forgotten! 😀👏

Great spot for our overnight stay, loved watching the birds sitting out in a beautiful setting. Great service with breakfast in the outdoors. Looks over the park so if you had kids you could watch them from the garden. Walking distance to the RSL and other restaurants.
