Detailed Reviews
We arrived after a lengthy drive and found this motel offered us everything we required, including an enjoyable dinner served punctually to our unit as it was a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed.
Air conditioning worked very well, the towels were large and thick and the electric blankets were a comforting bonus on a chilly night.
There are numerous motels around country Australia with similar presentation, but this one has the edge on many others we have visited.

I stayed at the Mundubbera Motel for two nights for business. On arrival I found the owners Mark & Jackie to be extremely warm and welcoming.
The grounds of the motel were clean and tidy with the view of the sparkling pool.
The food was probably the nicest I’ve eaten at any motel for sometime and would highly recommend a night at their restaurant.
The beds were extremely comfortable, with the rooms being extremely clean and fully equipped with a kettle, microwave and fridge.
I will certainly be staying here again on my next visit to Mundubbera.
Highly recommend!!!

Overall I rate it as a 4 stars
Good points.
Very wide roof overhand for your unit parking.
Clean inside, Good Wifi, friendly staff & shoe polish & brushes shared between 3 or 4 units.
Good size TV & fair size fridge & No real road noise.
No real noise issues from the qty of tradies visiting when they have drinks.
The opportunities
Price of $130 p/night a little elevated
A real shortage of handy Power Points when trying to use Jug, toaster or Microwave.
No USB power ports for charging devices.
The owners did try to undersell their benefits of this beautiful town.

I was travelling with my 90 year old Aunt. These facilities are spotlessly clean and attention to detail has been applied to every aspect of the temporary accommodation experience. The room and bathroom are a generous size and well fitted out. The evening meal was delivered to the room and was delicious and well priced. Will definitely stay again

This Motel was a very pleasant surprise and a credit to the owners.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the local knowledge of the area was appreciated. Although initially disappointed that the restaurant was closed the night of our stay we were offered room service and a number of alternate dining options.
Would highly recommend and would happily return if travelling through Mundubbera.

Whilst on a road trip around Queensland, we stayed in Mundubbera after a day at Cania Gorge. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and with convenient undercover parking for our car right outside the room. Our son enjoyed a refreshing dip on the motel pool at the end of a day of bushwalking. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the motel's restaurant, the Allawah Bar & Grill, which appeared to be very popular with both motel guests and locals, and was a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The owners Mark and Jacki were very friendly and welcoming, providing excellent hospitality. Mark also giving us some great ideas on sights to see in the area for the next stage of our road trip. We really look forward to staying at this excellent motel again in the future!

Three of us stayed overnight on the way to Toowoomba for a wedding. It was easy to find and the staff were very helpful to the point of offering advice for onward travel info without being asked.
Our super special surprise was there were extensive food options at the restaurant for Gluten Free and other food contingencies (one of us was gluten free, another lactose free), very welcome. We ate dinner at the restaurant and in room dining for breakfast which was great.
Rooms were basic and comfy enough. It was very cold when we stayed so did not use the pool.

This is a large family-run motel. It is obvious that it is cared for. Jacki was very friendly. The rooms had been updated and the shower had a screen rather than the dreaded curtain. Most rooms seemed to be occupied by tradies who sat outside after work so we had to keep our door closed because of the cigarette smoke. The only problem was the fridge door opening the wrong way so you had to get in the corner to access things in the fridge.

+1
We stayed with friends at the Mundubbera Motel. The owners were really friendly and welcoming and the motel was very well presented and maintained.
Reasonably prised our king room was great, very well appointed and clean and tidy.
We decided to go to dinner at the motel’s licences restaurant. The menu was quite large and the meals were well presented and excellent. Two of us had the Lamb shank which was brilliant while one had the Lamb rump which she thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had the Rib Eye steak which was cooked to perfection and had a choose of sauces. The wines were also reasonably priced.
Sleep quality was excellent and we had a lovely breakfast in our room

We had a nice big room, queen bed and a single. Lovely young family running this motel. You could hear some highway noise but that’s normal being a country motel. They also have a restaurant with a broad menu - you can have it delivered to your room if you wish. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food. There was a toaster and crockery provided in the room which was handy.

Hi
Thank you for your enquiry. Happy to advise that a newly opened Chinese restaurant is now serving 6 nights a week. It is receiving very good reviews and our motel is the closest to the main street of town where the venue is located at a local pub.
