The Billabong Motor Inn is a 21 Unit Motel and has beautiful landscaped gardens in a quiet setting. All units are on the ground floor and provide air conditioning, FREE Wifi and flat screen T.V.s, Undercover parking outside the units and plenty of space for large vehicles. There is also a Guest laundry. The Motel has one disabled unit, Two 2 room family rooms with microwaves and Four executive rooms with sink, microwave, cutlery & crockery for self-catering. Guest laundry facilities are also available. The Billabong has an excellent licensed restaurant with air conditioned dining room or al fresco accommodating up to 70 diners. Specialising in superb steak & chicken snitzel supplied by our local butcher, succulent seafood and other delicious dishes. Meals are available every night for motel guests via the restaurant or by room service. The majority of the Motel was refurbished in 2013 and offers clean, comfortable accommodation & friendly old fashioned service.

This was the second time I've stayed at this facility. The rooms are simply furnished and clean. The bed was comfortable and we felt safe staying here. We were thankful receiving huge quality meals to the rooms even though the restaurant was closed.

Our third stay here and as always the rooms are well appointed,spotless and comfy. Restaurant food was very good and new owners friendly and helpful. We have detoured in order to stay here so pleased are we with this motel Excellent value.

The Billabong motel stay was just overnight and our room was very clean, comfortable and very well provisioned. It had a kitchenette which was unexpected but very welcome and the bathroom had been updated recently. A very pleasant stay with a restaurant onsite.

Michelle was very welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was really comfortable, warm and clean. Our car was under a covered carport with access via the back of the room, so really handy on a wet evening. We ordered room service for dinner and the food was home cooked with more than sufficient portion size, delicious and delivered with a smile. Breakfast was also excellent, cooked beautifully and nice and hot. We were wishing we could have stayed another night. True country hospitality at its' best. Best wishes to you both. Stayed in the family unit with our poodle. Was an exceptionally welcoming and comfortable stay. Great mattresses, clean units, very good food available for room service or in the resturant. Lovely family owned business who go out of their way to be helful. It was fantastic to find a pet friendly Motel. I wish there were more. Thank You

Excellent overnight stay at the Mundubbera Billabong Motor Inn. My Thursday night stay was comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with undercover parking outside the door. I had a good night's sleep. The room was towards the back and it was so quiet over night. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was great (so a good shower.) Only a few days off Winter and the room was warm with a good reverse cycle air conditioner. The chicken schnitzel and veggie meal served to the room was delicious.

Front and rear access from room. It the first time I’ve seen it and it made easier to access car that’s parked at rear and reception that’s out front. Beds really comfy. Slept well. Minimal road noise too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No bar in room which I liked. But restaurant on site and mini bar at reception with popular alcohol brands and munchies. Milk provided but only small bottle for 2 cuppas, so take your own if needing more. Will definitely seek this motel for next stay In Mundubbera.

Teena and her husband went out of their way to accommodate us as much as possible. We arrive quite late due to a terrible storm, and despite the late hour, they cooked us a delicious meal. We had two small dogs with us, and the room they provided faced onto a grassed area for the dogs to toilet and walk around. Breakfast was simple, but right on time.
