Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful place to stay, Mandy and Chris are delightful hosts (live downstairs) making our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is delicious and views amazing. You have the whole upstairs, spacious living areas, best place to stay. Very close to the gorge and walking distance to town. A real home away from home.

We had a very nice stay at Mandy and Chris’ bed and breakfast. The location is just on the edge of the rainforest and convenient to many places but not in a busy area. Mandy was a great help at organizing our time in the area, and there is a lot to do between the rainforest and the water. The highlight of breakfast on the patio deck was a variety of homemade jams that were very delicious. There is a beautiful view from the deck, including many birds to see. We found Mossman Gorge was a great place from which to visit the general area, and this b&b was a terrific place to stay.

Mandy and Chris have an amazing B&B with 3-4 rooms at the first floor of their house. The house has a garden and is built such that the general part on the first floor seems in a canopy. One can study and enjoy so much birdlife; it makes the stay simply unforgettable!

Such a great place to stay as a base to explore the area. And a lovely experience in itself - the house is beautiful and well adapted to the tropical heat, the garden is wild jungle, there is an amazing array of bird life that you can watch from the terrace, and the pool is great for a refreshing dip. Mandy and Chris are excellent, thoughtful, helpful hosts and the breakfast is fantastic. We all loved it and were sad to leave

It you are looking for a 5 Star accommodation with all the luxury Then this place is not for you If you are looking for a 5 star accommodation to watch nature . Then this place may not be for you . But if you are looking for a 5 star accommodation in which you are part of the nature . Than this place is truly amazing . Throughout a 24 hour day you are always reminded by the incredible array of birds that you are in the Daintree . Then if that isn't enough you are greeted every morning with a stunning continental breakfast from your host Mandy and Chris From home made jams and honey . Beautiful fresh fruit salad and a selection of pastries .with tea , coffee , orange juice and toast And all this while watching the stunning views of the Daintree mountains. I highly recommend Mossman Gorge bed and breakfast 5 *****

Mandy and Chris are excellent hosts at this lovely B&B! The rooms were very clean and had lovely outlooks. The common areas in the house are sectioned very well, you can mix with other people or have time on your own. The breakfast each morning (we stayed 3 nights) was amazing, the view added to the experience! We saw lots of wildlife off the veranda! The proximity to Mossman Gorge is excellent too!

Couldn't recommend this more if you love a hosted bnb experience. There are 3 rooms all iwth ensuites with shared living areas and a massive balcony with stunning views. Loads of room if you prefer to keep to yourselves. Mandy and Chris were perfect hosts.(the home made croissants were amazing!), and very helpful in working out itineraries for 3 days of torrential rain ( which was unusual even for wet tropics..). But a lovely place to sit on the balcony and watch rain pouring down. The bedrooms are all screened but to he honest we barely saw a bug and we had no mozzies. I guess as we are above where they like to hang out. If we're in the area again we will definately be back...hopefully this time for dry weather experience!

We had the best time stay at this gorgeous B&B nestled amongst the rainforest trees. Right near the Mossman gorge and other great scenic walks, we felt close to everything we needed during our 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, clean and comfy with a private bathroom. Then we had various indoor and outdoor living spaces where we could eat, play games, bird watch and just hang out. Very comfortable and spacious. Mandy and Chris went out of their way to be helpful and friendly whilst also giving us our space. Breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh daily fruit salads and homemade yoghurts along with homemade jams, spreads and their local honey. This was a wonderful addition to our trip around Australia.
