Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Chose this place for its proximity to Mossman Gorge and a midway point between Daintree and Port Douglas. Felt very comfortable sharing the house with a very friendly Mandy and Chris with helpful information on where to eat and what to see. As we had access to the whole top floor, the hosts were unobtrusive. The breakfast provided was delicious and set us up for out day exploring. A dip in the saltwater pool at the end of our day was refreshing and invigorating. A convenient and enjoyable stop for a few days. Thanks Mandy and Chris.

Mandy and Chris are perfect hosts at this excellent B&B a few minutes drive from Mossman and on the way to the Gorge.
Breakfast is served on the deck overlooking rain forest canopy and includes homemade jams and yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries.
Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again if in the area.

I wish I could give a higher rating for Mossman B&B! Chris is highly knowledgeable about activites surrounding the North QLD area, so if your not sure on what to do for the day, they will help you out. Growing many treats in their garden alongside honey bees, their breakfast is served with native jams and honey from their backyard. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home, the view is gorgeous to spend the evening playing board games, or swimming in the pool during the day. The quality of service and cleanliness is like no other B&B I've stayed at. Thank you for your kindness and making us feel at home.

Couldn't recommend this more if you love a hosted bnb experience. There are 3 rooms all iwth ensuites with shared living areas and a massive balcony with stunning views. Loads of room if you prefer to keep to yourselves. Mandy and Chris were perfect hosts.(the home made croissants were amazing!), and very helpful in working out itineraries for 3 days of torrential rain ( which was unusual even for wet tropics..). But a lovely place to sit on the balcony and watch rain pouring down. The bedrooms are all screened but to he honest we barely saw a bug and we had no mozzies. I guess as we are above where they like to hang out.
If we're in the area again we will definately be back...hopefully this time for dry weather experience!

Based ourselves here for a few days to explore the surrounding area. Great location. The B&B has lovely ambience set in lush rainforest nestled amongst the treetops. Hosts Mandy and Chris were able to provide lots of helpful information re activities in the area. Homemade spreads at breakfast were a treat - especially the passionfruit lime butter!

We had a very nice stay at Mandy and Chris’ bed and breakfast. The location is just on the edge of the rainforest and convenient to many places but not in a busy area. Mandy was a great help at organizing our time in the area, and there is a lot to do between the rainforest and the water.

The highlight of breakfast on the patio deck was a variety of homemade jams that were very delicious. There is a beautiful view from the deck, including many birds to see.

We found Mossman Gorge was a great place from which to visit the general area, and this b&b was a terrific place to stay.

We had the best time stay at this gorgeous B&B nestled amongst the rainforest trees. Right near the Mossman gorge and other great scenic walks, we felt close to everything we needed during our 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, clean and comfy with a private bathroom. Then we had various indoor and outdoor living spaces where we could eat, play games, bird watch and just hang out. Very comfortable and spacious. Mandy and Chris went out of their way to be helpful and friendly whilst also giving us our space. Breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh daily fruit salads and homemade yoghurts along with homemade jams, spreads and their local honey. This was a wonderful addition to our trip around Australia.

Great spot discovered too late. Had I realised how conveniently located it is to Port Douglas, Reef Trips, Mossman Gorge (obv!?) , Cape Tribulation and the Daintree, I would have based my whole trip from here. Lovely quiet setting with stunning views to Mossman Gorge and mountains. Great hosts and delicious breakfast in the morning. This is like the original bed and breakfasts. Great value and would definitely stay again. It is worth calling Mandy direct with all the recent cancellations even it appears fully booked still.

Mandy and Chris are excellent hosts at this lovely B&B! The rooms were very clean and had lovely outlooks. The common areas in the house are sectioned very well, you can mix with other people or have time on your own. The breakfast each morning (we stayed 3 nights) was amazing, the view added to the experience! We saw lots of wildlife off the veranda! The proximity to Mossman Gorge is excellent too!

The rainforest, the room, the hosts & and the breakfast were great. There is also a cute little dog that might come to greet you. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts consists of tropical fruits, homemade jams, honey and yoghurt as well as bread and we also had homemade pancakes! If you are a tourist, it gives a nice taste of our tropical lifestyle. I definitely recommend this peaceful location.
