Great service 24/7. Very helpful in terms of booking activities and making your stay as great as possible. Food fantastic choice and very comfortable stay. Loved the surroundings and pool area, especially with the casuary birds wandering around that come for a feed daily! wonderful.

Mick and Sue (hosts) could not have done anything more to make our Xmas break lovely - our breakfasts were delicious and they went the extra mile with Xmas festivities. The rooms are very comfortable with a nice outlook, especially for cassowary viewing. it is nice and peaceful in the rainforest setting with an excellent pool and tv/common room. The...

We spent 3 nights at Licuala in its beautiful rainforest surroundings. It's a great base for the activities in the area, everything we did (including one of the restaurants) offered a free shuttle to and from the lodge. Mick and Sue looked after us superbly well. They took care of all of our bookings and we very much enjoyed breakfast...

We had a fantastic stay at Licuala Lodge...The location was amazing and the accommodation was perfect for us. Seven of us spent xmas week there and Sue & Mick were very accommodating, ensuring we had relaxing stay. We saw Cassowarry birds, bush turkeys and heard all sorts of wildlife in the rainforest environment...the gardens at Licuala Lodge are truly amazing....

After reading all the impressive reviews, we were quite surprised to find owners (and a place), who seemed to be a bit tired of offering B&B. Everything was good, but we had better stays at the east coast. The highlight was the daily visit of the cassowaries, but this isn't worth a 3-nights-stay (as we did). A good pit stop...

We stayed here for a couple of nights (would have been happy to have stayed longer though!). The accommodation is a short drive from the centre of Mission Beach, and in a lovely location. The guest rooms are a good size with a fridge provided, and a nice little ensuite bathroom. There is no TV in the room but there...

We stayed here for a couple of days and had a lovely, peaceful time. It's set back in the forest and is about 1 mile from the main 'town' of Mission Beach. The gardens and swimming pool are beautiful. Our room was very comfortable with a great balcony from which we could watch all sorts of wildlife - birds, lizards,...

This is a great B&B. Sue & Mick are laid-back, non-intrusive, genuine people. They don't make you feel "at home" but rather as if Licuala Lodge was your own home. It is a good setup with the accommodation separated from the main house. Beautiful gardens ( Mick generously gave us some cuttings), relaxing pool and huge common lounge with kitchenette,...
