We stayed at the Rainforest Motel and this place has it all. The hosts Len and Sue are very professional with their booking process as well as being friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The motel is air conditioned, has a refreshing pool and very close to the beach and other amenities. In addition to the tea and coffee facilities in the room a communal kitchen is available if you wish to eat in. There are many eateries within close walking distance and the Tavern adjoins the property and has great food and friendly service. We would not hesitate to recommend this Motel.

This is a well appointed & inexpensive motel central to everything in Mission Beach. The rooms are very clean, bed & pillows comfortable,the grounds are beautiful with a pool and the manager provides a "camp style" kitchen so you can save $ cooking your own meals. Close to all the shops & restaurants too. We will be back!

We have recently stayed at Rainforest Motel for two weeks. We found the accommodation to be excellent and very clean complete with A/c fridge kettle and fan. It is also very quiet.
This complex if roughly 10 chalets and very Balinese.
The owner Brendan is now in full charge and undertaking modifications that will improve the communal kitchen area and is committed to keeping everything in order.
It is incredibly good value for money and the beach is literally 4 minutes away.
We highly recommend this for your stay.

I was expecting the motel to be getting a bit tired as it had been a while since we had stayed. It was better than ever with the pool improved and everything neat and clean. The position in town is ideal and the setting gives a feeing of being in a rainforest. If you want to self cater there is an open kitchen with everything that is needed. It is handy taking a shortcut into the main street and it is only 5 minutes to the beach. The price is very reasonable. Looking forward to staying again.

Really loved this motel which is in the perfect spot in Mission Beach to walk out to shops, cafes and restaurants. The beach is very close and it's worth noting that Mission Beach stretches over around 10km and this lovely, homely motel is in the centre of the main village where you'll find just about everything you need for even quite a long stay. Woolies is a five minute car ride away or hire bikes from the pro dive shop about an hour's walk south down the beach and you can get around on these, taking a beautiful ride along the beach because the sand is hard-packed. Simply love this little town and the Rainforest Motel is the best spot to enjoy it all from.

There is a good feel about this motel located in a perfect spot one street back from the main street. There is very easy shortcut access to walk to restaurants and beach. The room was large with fridge, tea coffee making and clean bathroom. There was an undercover verandah, lovely pool area and an undercover large microwave/bbq area which would be very useful for longer stays. The WIFI worked well. The manager was lovely and very helpful. We would definitely stay at Rainforest Motel again.

I stayed overnight on 4th September 2021. I was taken aback somewhat as the motel looked quite old, tired and worn. I felt it was in need of some TLC. Having said that, I would like to add that my room was clean and tidy, the bathroom somewhat antiquated but again clean. My bed was most impressive, very comfortable and it appeared that the linen had been pressed! Great nights sleep! Outdoor furniture was definitely in need of a scrub and some fresh paint. Thank you.

I stayed here for a few nights and I really liked it. The room was very nice and clean. In addition, the motel has a very nice outdoor area with tropical plants, palm trees and a pool. If you want to cook something, there is also a communal kitchen. Very good value for money.

Our room also welcomed us with made ice cubes, tea, milk and an ash tray.What more could you possibly need!?
Not only was Len a ledge - he was superb and allowed us a 12pm checkout!

We really loved our stay here. The owner was friendly and helpful. The motel itself is single storey with the rooms set amongst lovely gardens. It is a bit quirky which fits in well with the feel of Mission Beach. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the location was great. Just a walk of a few metres through the gardens to the pub opposite the beach. It has a pool which would be nice in the summer. All up, this is a great place to stay and it is very well priced.
