The spot is perfect, right next to the beach, Bit the camping itself is really not good, Kitchen is very minimalistic and tools are very old and/or broken, toilets and showers are pretty clean but no proper mirror. Quite expensive for what it is.

Thanks Estelle, you'll be pleased to hear that we're commencing refurbishment in the near future. We'd also like to clarify that our rates are for a family of 4 (2a and 2c) which actually makes them some of the most cost-effective in the region. Happy travels.

Super cheap and very well located on the beach. It is the best located caravan park in the area. The facilities need a little love and care but they are renovating them during February and March. So this will be perfect for the peak season. The guy that runs it is super friendly and helpful. Very easy access to the beach

Great little caravan & camping spot right on the beach! Spacious spots both with grass or slabs & great kitchen/common area facilities. For the price -$29 a night for a family of 4 in a powered site! Showers and toilets are large and clean (dated but in great order considering the age). Pretty great compared to other places we stayed at along our NQ travels. The area is very flat & shaded also. The kids went straight to the beach to hunt for coconuts etc while we set up the campervan & we were able to see them the entire time. We even saw our first cassowary on our way into town! Worth the stop guys!

We had a late check in and the process was too easy. Right next to the beach and close to shops. Amenities are suited for what it is - a campground, but that doesn't sway you from what's around you πŸ‘πŸ»

Mission Beach is magic and this place, whilst not the concrete pad with fresh mowed grass is the best value for money place in Nth Qld. Right on the beach, short walk from pub and shops, ticks all of our boxes
