Comfortable bed and spacious room. Very clean. Given complementary fresh milk which was nice. The restaurant food was very good including dinner and room service breakfast. Friendly staff. Main issue for us was poor wifi. Though strong signal, I was only able to connect transiently and kept getting kicked off the connection. My partner couldn’t connect at all. Also, only one side of the bed had a reading light which was annoying.

Clean and comfortable, good location. Handy to have a restaurant on site, food was typical outback fare, not very exciting. Huge shower, loads of hot water, extra blankets, walk down main street. Miles is a very pretty town.

A lovely and clean room with all the necessary comforts and amenities for a good motel. Toaster, microwave, bar fridge and flat screen tv with Foxtel channels. A nicely furnished and spacious room slightly spoiled by the dark room paneling which takes all the light. A large and sparkling bathroom that would not be out of place in a grand hotel. Manage friendly and efficient and carried check in & out faultlessly. The Oasis restaurant, in the motel, produced tasty and large meals at a reasonable price.

There was a booking error at their end (or my account was hacked). When I found out 24 hours prior to my supposed booking, I contacted them immediately to advise this booking was not mine (it was even in a different name) . I was told too bad and I was charged full price, even though I was not staying and they had plenty of empty rooms! They will take you money without a care, for zero service.

Great place to stay in Miles. Very helpful manager, Sunny. Enthusiastic staff and this was observed in cleaning of the many rooms n the morning! Very quiet. Generous bathrooms . Good air conditioning and lighting. Has had a major update with new owners. Undercover parking. Lovely restaurant. Wide choice of dishes. Good red wine. White wine could be improved. Best place to stay in Miles. Breakfast is only available in your room but there is Creek Cafe nearby which opens very early.

This hotel exceeded expectation for regional small town hotels. Rooms a spacious, clean with excellent showers with great water pressure. Swimming pool with entertainment are easy to access. Professional hotel service with nothing being an issue.

Having previously stayed at the Western Downs Motor Inn, and the excellent experience we had, our choice was simple. Again the premises and rooms are immaculately kept, and the Oasis restaurant again provided a great dining experience. The only place we would stay in Miles, thanks Maddy & Sunny for a great stay! Highly recommended!

At a glance this place looks modern and clean. Then, when you scratch the surface - it’s unfortunate that the lack of service or duty of care or any attention to detail is blatantly apparent . No fly screens on windows. Cheap and nasty blinds that are faulty. Rotting stinking rubbish bins outside the rooms that don’t get emptied. Rooms are not serviced …. And truly terrible customer service from the owners - to the point where you feel completely unwelcome. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. Don’t be fooled by the shiny exterior.

This is a very ultra-modern motel - all looks lovely but not very practical. It was clean, but a big cobweb on the side of the door remained unseen by cleaning staff obviously. The only chairs were the ones at the table, very upright and one was a bit wonky in the legs - we couldn't sit on them, they caused such backaches. Windows really couldn't be opened so had to rely on the air-con which was very noisy. The bed was comfortable enough but the main problem was the enormous ensuite - lovely to look at but lethal to use - the floor is covered in high-glass ceramic tiles, even in the walk in shower. My partner almost fell on the slippery wet floor, and would certainly have broken a hip had it not been for quick thinking to save the fall but very shaken up. They do provide a small non-slip mat but this is definitely not adequate for the size of the shower which is huge. After that, we were both very wary of using it. A shame as this is really upmarket, sadly all show and no common sense. We certainly wouldn't recommend this motel, and won't return to this particular one.…
