We stayed one night in this lovely motel while on a touring holiday in country Qld. The motel is beautifully appointed and squeaky ckean. Bed was comfortable and shower hot with good pressure. The motel is on a very busy highway but rooms are well insulated and we heard nothing. There is a very nice pool. We ate in the restaurant where prices are a little on the high side but food very good and plentiful. The tariff of $129 for 2 per night compares very favourably to other accommodation in the area. I highly recommend this motel.

We just pulled in without a booking on our way home from the west. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Tea/coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided and bathroom was very clean The restaurant was not open but we were able to order an evening meal from a local Bistro which was delivered to our room.
Very impressed with this motel, and highly recommend.

Day 1 of our Brisbane to Charleville road trip got off to a late start at 4pm due to car issues so instead of staying in Roma we only got as far as Miles. We booked this motel after seeing it on TA. It should be ranked #1 in Miles as it's great. Very new and clean with excellent in room amenities and cooked breakfast (at extra cost). As we arrived after reception was closed, the owner left our room unlocked with the key inside and kindly left the heating on as it was very cold when we arrived at 9.30pm. Queen size bed was comfortable (on the firm side) and bathroom was very spacious. Despite being on the highway the room was very quiet. Room had a large TV, kettle and cutlery, 2 seater dining table, quiet air conditioner and bathroom heating. All was done via contactless check in & out so big COVID-19 tick. I highly recommend this motel.

For the price and high reviews, I was left deflated. Cleanliness and housekeeping standards do not match the promise. Black dirt rings around light switches, mould under the shower caulking. Yellow stained caulk around toilet base and dead bugs in the window frame. ( see photos ) Stainless steel and shiny cupboard surfaces are good if you know how to clean so there are no spots, streaks and fingerprints. Cupboards contained a bare assortment of stuff. There was not 2 of everything and not one cereal bowl. I found egg remnants on the frypan. Couple of towels frayed and need replacing. A deep clean is needed, every surface including door stoppers, handles and so on. Bring back the polish and shine. Replace the caulking in the shower, the deteriorating shower head, new plates for the kitchen etc ( kmart would do ) Clean under the switch plates. The most expensive and disappointing of my current road trip. On a positive note the pool looks terrific, parking is allocated directly outside the room and IGA is across the street. Room was spacious. Free wifi and fox sport. No Netflix. There is a bit of road noise but not enough to be a huge concern.

Having stayed at many 4 and 5 star accommodation locations within Australia and overseas, we were surprised as to the overall quality of this motel. My wife thought noise may be a problem, as our room overlooked the Warrego H'way. We slept well in our well appointed room and road noise was not even a slight issue. Though we could have had dinner in the motel restaurant, we chose to enjoy room service with excellent meals. Whilst to cold to use during our visit, there was a pool for enjoyment during warmer weather conditions. Our car parking was directly outside, marked and undercover. The room and overall accommodation would put many 5 star hotels to shame and would happily return when next through Miles.

This motel is easy to find and is close to everything. Everything was clean and modern and as noted by other reviewers you can park your car just outside for loading and unloading. We were told the restaurant was closed but on the way to the supermarket noted people eating in there. No bother as there are pubs on the main street. Service was friendly and helpful. Would definitely break our trip here again on the way out to Carnarvon.

On our trip to western Queensland we booked a night at the Western Downs Motor Inn. The premises are very new, and the rooms were absolutely immaculate. Maddy was a great host and the restaurant on site serves great food, definitely a step above the fare you often get at motels with restaurants on site. With the current pandemic, the attention to detail with COVID safe planning was quite evident and strictly adhered to. We would definitely stay there again and most certainly dine there too. Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight on our trip further north. We were pleasantly surprised to find this brand new motel in rural Queensland. The rooms were done to an extremely high degree. This was luxury at a normal price. The room was large with plenty of power points and everything you needed. The bathroom was large and modern Even though it was on a main road the room was quiet.

This motel was the best we (3 adults) stayed in during our recent outback trip. The room was very modern, clean & spacious. We had room service for dinner and breakfast with both being delivered on time and as we ordered. We were surprised how busy it was but that did not distract us. We would definitely stay here again.

On a recent trip to Miles for a sporting event we stayed here and from the time we arrived we were treated like family. The staff are happy,informative and very proud of the motel. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and spacious.
The bathroom is super lux with endless hot water and modern high quality fittings.
We will not be looking elsewhere when heading out here again as this will be our new second home. Big thank you to the team.
