Arrived on Tuesday morning, but was able to check into my room early, as it was already clean. Room was very clean and spacious and well laid out. Staff (Bruce) and others were very friendly and welcoming. Nights were cold, but they provide extra blankets and pillows, and the reverse cycle aircond can warm up the room very quickly.

Large room and very quiet. Very helpful & friendly, will definitely stay here again. We put in a room at the very rear of the motel so there was no traffic at all. Meals are available to your room or you can dine in. Short stroll to hotels in town, 3 I think, all serving meals.

Dog friendly. 🐶 Great location, near 3 or 4 pubs all with restaurants. Enough hot water to drown a whale. Comfortable bed. Pillows average. The most unusual feature was a lock up garage next to the room with an entry door into the room. As hail was predicted, but didn’t eventuate, this made us feel good. We’d stay again, especially for what was such a reasonable tariff.

This is a serviceable motel, typical of those in country towns but providing recliner chairs to sit in rather than just on the bed which is a bonus. There is the usual bar fridge, microwave, toaster and basic crockery etc. Parking at most units accommodated larger vehicles.
As another post has noted, we were also allocated a room right at the rear of the property, adjacent to a side road and opposite the exit for a truck service station. First night the constant noise of trucks starting up their engines and clattering out past the room kept us awake for much of the night. There seemed to be less trucks the second night. This would be a problem for the last few rooms in the two wings on that side of the property. The motel did have rooms tucked away from both the front and side roads and I imagine these would be quiet and preferable. These rooms also had the garages attached. Many of the rooms appeared to be let to DIDO or similar workers. The motel did not appear to be full so I would think better management could be used to allocate these noisy rooms only as a last resort. Motels on the main road would also be noisy one imagines. Despite the recliners, we would choose an alternate property and check its location carefully, next time.

Extremely disappointed as this place was not even close to the photos on their website. There was greasy marks on the bed head. There was feaces stains on the toilet seat Towels looked dirty and were smelly Only 1 small soap for 2 adults to wash hands and shower with Bathroom shelf had toothpaste remnants still on it Very noisy, could hear people on either side through the walls Extremely uncomfortable bed, like sleeping on a base , not a mattress

Clearly I must be staying in an old room. I have never been in a motel that smells so bad. The air conditioning smells when you turn it on, the carpet is disgusting and the bed mattress needed replacing 10 years ago. I won’t be back

Nice, quiet, comfortable, affordable, strong hot shower, very clean, lovely management…and, let me charge my EV over night which makes all the difference when travelling out west with one of these. We arrived late, so our key was waiting for us. Thank you very much

Very clean rooms, very spacious. Bruce and Hamish are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Good value for money. Plenty of parking for large 4x4's. Having the convenience of room delivery meals from the local hotels is a great plus.

The room was clean and well laid out. The place had facilities for a light breakfast of toast and coffee. It was great having an attached garage.
The bathroom was a great size, I loved the size of the shower!
The motel was in good walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants.

We stayed here on 27th July. It wasn't until we had come back from dinner and turned on the lights that we noticed all the dust on everything. The top of the microwave, the bed head, bedside tables hadn't been cleaned in months. The amount of dust under the chairs was so bad that the dark carpet was white.
