My wife and I stayed here late 2019. The apartments are great, very clean and modern, decorated and furnished to a high standard. Located a couple of minutes walk from an amazing beach, there's also a shopping plaza right across the road. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back.

This was a great find, The apartment must have just been done up, newly painted walls new carpet and all new furniture with a king bed which was great. the complex has a beautiful pool and gym to use. the staff were really friendly and helpful. You're so close the the plaza and beach. This is a perfect location with perfect amenities, I will be back again soon.

We stayed in a great fully furnished apartment with new furniture, it was clean and tidy and had everything you needed to cook. Free parking and unlimited wifi was a bonus. The ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. Pool was super clean and great having use of a gym as well. Just a walk away from shops and beach so perfect location.

Looking last minute for somewhere that was nice but wouldn't break the bank to stay up the Sunshine Coast over the end of Xmas/New Year Break. Found the Horton Apartments. Cost was so much more reasonable than other places at the time. Was not beachfront, however was super close to the Sunshine Plaza - walking distance. So this meant we could head to Movies, dining, entertainment every night. The size of the apartment was really spacious and very comfortable. Full kitchen facilities and pools really nice. Really lovely place. It did mean a drive to the beach which was okay as we would plan out our day and head off as we wanted. From a location perspective and size of apartment - thought it was great.

We booked 3 x 2 bedroom apartments for a work Christmas dinner to accomodate for 1 family and 4 couples 6 weeks in advance. We found that booking had been entered incorrectly and only had single rooms booked. We called and corrected the mistake and were assured there was 3 x 2 bedrooms booked. We paid in full a week out and check our booking to see all was good, and was told it was all ok. The day before we called to check all was in order, only to find there was only single bedrooms units available and told us there was no two bedroom units available. Lucky we called ahead as we also found there was no reception on weekends. They did however upgrade one room for the family and put in a folding bed, but had to tell other couples that there was no beds available for them. On arrival we found one car space had been taken by someone else, so had to find another space. The upgraded room they had given us had no ceiling fan which made it very hot at night, and we went to use use the frying pan for breakfast and found a horrible mess. The pan looked very beaten up and disgusting. My wife went to use the hair dryer only to find there wasn’t one. One of the units had rust marks around the bath rim, and mould growing in the tile grout. Showers had a small screen that meant the mat became very wet, and the floor slippery. On a positive note, the unit was large with a good outdoor area to enjoy a few celebratory drinks. To anyone thinking of booking these units please be aware…

We stayed here for a night to celebrate a family birthday. We booked two apartments,one for my husband, daughter and myself and a separate apartment for my parent in-laws. We requested these to be on the same level and that my father in-law has mobility issues, we were told these requests would be attended to. We arrived to two rooms on separate levels, which was made very difficult as the swipe card only gave you access to the level your room was on, so we couldn’t visit each other. The room my in-laws has contained a shower over a bath, which with someone who uses a walking stick isn’t safe. Our room was ok, other than the only air conditioning that was in the two bedroom apartment sounded like a tractor and vibrated the wall badly enough that it would have affected the neighbouring room if someone was there. We had to shut the door to keep the noise down, but it got too hot, so we had to open it. Couldn’t open windows or sliding doors as there is no fly screens and the mozzies are bad, as it is near swamp. The car parking is room numbered, and our parking had been taken by other cars, so in turn we had to park in a ‘wrong’ car spot, only to return in the morning to find our car had been tampered with, I guess in retaliation for us having to park in a different numbered spot.
