I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Argyle on the Park. I had a lovely apartment on the pool level. It was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated with modern furniture. My bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The location was perfect, so close to shops and beach. The Managers were really lovely, so friendly and welcoming. My only negative feedback would be that my balcony door didn't lock and I felt the front door needed more secure locking. Other than that really nice and I would highly recommend.

We booked Unit 11 for 1 x month through Norm Martin, a local Real Estate Agent, and stressed when making the booking that I had restricted mobility and was the holder of a Disabled Parking Permit and required easy access plus Safe and secure Undercover Car Parking. When we arrived at the Apartments there were signs in the Basement advising that there were cracks in the Concrete floors above Car Parks 6 to 12 and to 'cover your car to stop concrete Lime damage to the car paintwork when it rained'. This is the Storm season in Qld so it was raining and continued to rain. As the apartment was not booked through the Management at Argyle I had to direct contact Norm Martin, the Real Estate Agent, and expressed my disappointment with the condition of the Car Parking and the injury risk also to me of falling on the wet slippery concrete in the Car Bays. I received a call from the agent to advise me that the Owner now wanted us to park our car outside in the street or the open public car park at the rear of the Apartments which means we will be walking on wet, slippery painted concrete with oil spills on it and no protection for the car from possible Hail. The Agent offered to relocate us - Totally at our expense and $300 a week increase in rental ($1,200.00) increase for 4 x weeks - also we would have to move again as they could not offer anything for the full 4 x weeks. They apparently do not understand that I have restricted mobility and require a walking aide for stability. There are no Designated Disabled Parking spaces in the Apartment Car Parking. As my wife was employed for 4 x weeks relief work she was not available to assist in relocation. Apartment No.11 itself was ideal for our short term requirements and has had an internal renovation to Kitchen, Living and Bedroom. It is a very small 1 x Bedroom, very clean and well kitted out however; there is no oven and we were not informed of this exclusion until we arrived on the scene. Be aware that there is no designated safe, secure parking for Disabled Parking. Also be aware that you have to supply all of your Bedding; Towels; T-Towels.

Argyle at Cotton Tree Queendsland We are Not happy, and we are very cranky with your service, or the cranky sour puss faced  receptionist/manager that never helped when she was there, if  reception  wasn’t  locked, which seemed to be every time we had a complaint. And when a complaint or 3 was made to her about  The television was not working properly, its signal was glitchie , so we couldn’t watch normal television Light bulb that was out in bedroom was not changed either Security screen broken with holes in it which were letting mozzies  in and the screen had come unhinged and wouldn’t go back on  into place,  and didn’t get fixed  But nothing got looked at, nothing got fixed, the whole of our stay and no one bothered to get back to us  to explain   I’d like to complain about the dirty state of the unit we were in, especially with Covid 19 and cleaning rules, apparently they don’t apply to your units I should not have to go into a unit for a 3 night stay for  my wedding anniversary and have to scrub a unit that should be clean, I could have stayed home and cleaned!!!  Lucky I brought chux cloths and my chemical free disinfectant and cleaned: Dirty brown finger marks all over lamp switches, power points, switches s and remote controls The books in the unit were so disgustingly un clean and greasy you could see the germs, it  looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years  The lounge had coffee spillage marks over it The coffee machine still had dirty coffee pods in it and water/coffee residue left over microwave I had to wipe out The fridge had drink spills on door holder slots and crisper still had fruit and vegetable dry outside skin bits in it Bench tops, table, chairs, draw and door handles and all railings had dirty and greasy hand marks on them All doors that opened and were suppose to slide would not without some force to be able to move them Toiletries was 1 face washer, 2 towels, 1 mat, 1 conditioning shampoo, 1 hand soap no body wash and for 2 people for 3 nights The toilet had not been cleaned at the base, there was dust all around the toilet base and sides on the floor, looking between my legs at base of toilet bowl, there was vomit still stuck to the toilet. And looking forward at the wall there was vomit runs running down the wall and pooling in droplet spots towards the bottom of the wall,  YUK so disgusting Now  the un cleaned shower…  First there is a fixed shower head on the wall which had no water pressure, so when I tried to clean the shower as it had mildew and hair still at the end of the shower i tried to move the fixed shower head, the water pressure and shower head did not reach past my feet so I  cold not clean the shower properly or to the end of the shower which was a long shower…. So how do the showers get cleaned??? The carpet must have been dirty also, because after a shower your clean feet were dirty again after walking around inside on the carpet.  Then walking from the carpet to the bathroom, the bathroom floor had dirty muddy looking outlines of feet foot prints Talking  to unit neighbors they all had similar stories of complaints about your units These standards  are so very low in any hospitality/accommodation standards. Building inspectors and body corporate and google reviews will be interested in hearing about how your business and  services are run there It only deserves a 1 star rating at the very most W & G Foster

We booked then cancelled a stay over a month before traveling, received confirmation of the cancellation. Then I received a message the day we were supposed to arrive telling me where the key was I rang straight away and explained that we had cancelled, Karen called me back and apologized (their mistake etc.) they had taken the money out but it would be back in our account within 24 hours. Long story short to the money wasn't put back in until a week later. When we phoned after day 5 Karen was do rude & she actually hung up on us. Not a good way to run a business very poor customer service. Kaz
