Waves Maroochy River is located right on the river mouth opposite the Ocean Street dining precinct. As Waves Maroochy River is one of the closest resorts to Sunshine Plaza and with the Big Top Market Fresh directly across the road, you really will be spoilt for options when it comes to shopping or dining out. Access to the river is via our own private jetty or if the beach is more your thing, a short stroll along the river through Cotton Tree Park will find you at our very own Maroochydore Beach. Our complex of 1,2 or 3 bedroom fully self-contained self-catered apartments is complete with a resort style heated pool, spa and separate kids wading pool. Selected ground floor and penthouse apartments also offer their own private Jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen complete with gas bbq. An onsite gymnasium is also available to all our guests. Parking is provided in our secure underground basement with security controlled lift access to each level.

Great apartment in a central and convenient location with fabulous views of the river and Cotton Tree Beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and the extra added touches of chocolates and bottled water very welcoming.

The units at Waves have everything you need to switch instantly into holiday mode. A quick and friendly check-in, lifts when you need them and then the magnificent view from your unit which all face the water. Then you will find the unit has a great breeze, but also air con and fans and a well-equipped kitchen right down to the salt n pepper. But outside on the quiet street you will find a shopping centre, restraurants, take-aways and a hotel to satisfy any other needs. It is a little walk to the beach, RSL and big shopping centre but all still close and of course Waves own pool and spa is right there between reception and the units.

stayed from 13/04/22 - 19/04/22, can't speak highly of the customer service team and their attention to detail, apartment was perfect, so clean and comfortable. Views to die for, not to mention the location, Woolworths pubs and restaurants and Sunshine Plaza, all walking distance. My husband, son and I stay in the 2bdrm penthouse, our son is in a wheelchair, I knew when booking that they didn't have any wheelchair friendly accessible rooms, so we brought our own portable ramp for access, which was not a problem. lift to all levels, ground level has a wheelchair accessible shower for use. I highly recommend the property, we will be back.

We recently stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 6th floor. The apartments are clean and spacious with everything that you would hope to find but don't always get eg, coffee plunger, hair dryer, dishwasher, pool towels, Wi-Fi and cable TV. The beds are very comfortable and you can have queen beds in the second or third bedroom if you wish. Sitting on the verandah on a sun lounge enjoying the view was extremely relaxing. The view is spectacular. Woolworths and a chemist is across the road and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We tried Thai and Japanese (Ikko) and both were delicious. Bring your fishing rood and fish off the private jetty or walk 5 to 10 minutes to Cotton Tree beach and play area for smaller children. Most importantly the staff at Waves are super friendly. They even gave us cupcakes to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday. How kind and thoughtful is that? We will definitely be returning for another holiday here next year.

This was our second stay at Waves and it was just as impressive as our first. The whole experience is first class from the warm welcome to the stunning views of the Maroochy River and the Ocean to the tastefully and functionally designed unit (904). Every need has been thoughtfully catered for. A great place for a relaxing couple of days or an extended stay. Given the central location with supermarket and restaurants close by, the units are very quiet and private.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was very well furnished with comfort and practicality an obvious focus. The couch was super comfortable and big enough for a family. The kitchen was complimented by a generous supply of crockery, glasses, appliances and ample storage space for holiday provisions. A large fridge completed the perfect holiday kitchen. The view from the balcony setting to sit and watch the sun rise or set 10/10to Waves Maroochydore. We will be regular visitors. The staff manning the reception desk were friendly and helpful with information about restaurants and things to do .

For my Mum's 60th birthday she decided she wanted a weekend away with all the family. No mean feat with 8 adults and 10 kids. We decided to book Waves @ Maroochydore as we'd stayed there before & loved it.
The entire facility provided exactly what we were after. The units themselves are clean, spacious, incredible 180 degree views of the river & Cotton Tree etc. As a side note, the Sunshine Coast fireworks were on the Sat night (Jan 18th) & were amazing given how close we were. You literally couldn't be any closer without getting burnt 🔥
It provided for everyone, kids & adults alike. The kids loved access to the river (swimming & paddling from pontoon etc) the pool and spa area are fantastic, and for the adults to sit out with that view and have a drink at night was perfection.
Huge thanks to the Waves staff for everything, the units were spot on and we'll be back for sure!

I was blown away by Waves. The staff on arrival could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The view from our apartment (702) was sensational. The fit out and amenities provided are some of the best. Thoughtful touches, plenty of powerpoints, reading lamps, pool towels and even a full basket of pegs were great. So often overlooked in holiday accommodation. A huge fridge, ample pantry space and enough crockery, cutlery and glassware also made our stay easy. We thought it was well priced, in a great location and very spacious. Thanks. And, we’ll be back!!

Outstanding views, spacious, modern & clean. Plenty of extras (pillows, blankets, soap, powerboards). Management fabulous, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Even bottled water and a carton of milk in the fridge. Great location for cafes, restaurants, and Woolworths Supermarket across the road.5 min walk to Sunshine Plaza shopping centre with everything you need including cinemas, more restaurants and Timezone for kids. Great pool and spa facilities and short walk to esplanade, river and beach. Highly recommend-not our first time and definitely not our last.

We absolutely loved our stay at Waves! The location was perfect with stunning views, shops across the road and plenty of beautiful areas to walk close by.
