Breathtaking view. Make sure you're in your room for sunset, have a drink on your deck and watch the sun go down over the rolling green hills. Run a bath as the sun is setting, once it's too cold on the deck move the party into the bath. You should still have some sunlight left. If you're clever you will have picked up some beers from the local Brouhaha brewery (Choc Strawberry Stout for optimum enjoyment). Ensure beers are chilled, drink them in the bath, look out the window. Bath is best enjoyed warm, not hot.
Incredible service. Chris and Trish were fantastic, such friendly hosts, they are always down for a chat and couldn't be more accommodating. If you're lucky Chris will give you a personal tour of his extensive record collection. Think originally pressed Michael Jackson, U2, Prince. It's too bad the disco ball hanging from the roof is purely ornamental.
Delicious Food. A B&B where the second B not an afterthought. Food with an amazing view. An option on the menu for everyone. I had the Vege breakfast and easily made it Vegan by swapping eggs for spinach. You don't have to do make this swap, Trish won't take your eggs away and make them Spinach, but it's good to know the option is there if you're after it.
Thank you Chris and Trish for a barnstorming weekend.

We arrived at Top of the Hill in Maleny on March 7 for one night. Our lovely hosts Barb and Greg (hope I remember names correctly) offer six spacious cabins. Our cabin was spotless and had a private deck, open spa bathroom with a large tub and shower overlooking scenic valley views out in the countryside (only two small houses visible in the distance), a queen bed, sitting area, a kettle with coffee and tea available, and a small fridge. The cabin felt very private and very quiet. The room includes a free hot breakfast with several options served on your deck or in the main dining room or connecting main deck also overlooking the valley. We had visited Australia Zoo in Beerwah earlier in the day and it was very hot there so when we arrived we were happy to have a short nap in this beautiful location. We had been traveling about a week and Top of the Hill gave us the opportunity to rest from all the traveling. We would rate this as our favourite place that we stayed while in Australia. I highly recommend this wonderful country retreat especially for couples who need a break from the big city. Five star in all respects. Note to our hosts: we loved your hospitality and wonderful conversation in the dining room and we ended up buying another hat (so do with the one we forgot there whatever you'd like). Thank you so much!

From day one on arrival we were greeted and given advices on locations to eat and visit if. We were handed all details of dinner locations available / Recommended as well as map of any activities we wanted to visit.
Barb and Greg made life super easy for us.
If we had any requests from replacing soaps sugar, coffee, refreshed towels or even dirty dishes they were always willing to assist to make our stay as stress free and relaxing as possible.
What we really love about the place as well as hosts is that upon arrival you receive breakfast menu where you can pick time or meal day beforehand and drop it in box and sure thing next morning the time you picked breakfast is ready to your satisfaction.
All I can say is, highly recommend and we will definitely be back no doubt.
Thank you again for a wonderful stay Barb and Greg.

We had a wonderful two night getaway.
The rooms are fantastic with gorgeous views of the rolling hills and close ups of the local cows.
Beautiful views whilst taking a spa bath and enjoying a wine on the deck watching the sunset.
Chris and Trish were very lovely and welcoming cooking up a very tasty breakfast each morning.
Highly recommended to couples looking for a relaxing time.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful with any requests we had. The free morning breakfast menu was great- especially for myself with food allergies. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and the scenery was spectacular. Would recommend 100%

Place a lovely view and outlook although very basic and small room and simple choices with expensive prices. Breakfast was also simple yet nice in a large dining room or optional deck area. Place is star6to show its age around the corners and parking is VERY tight and limited - if you have a large SUV don't bring it!

Lovely clean cabins with good views across the valley. The cabins are stepped up the hill and cabins 2 - 6 have an obstructed view of the valley due to the position of the cabin in front, but still a nice view, particularly from the spa bath.
Furnishings are nice as were the supplied toiletries and there are some nice touches to make for a very pleasant stay.
I wasn't a fan of the bathroom (which contains the shower, spa and toilet) not having a door as I like my privacy. That's just a personal thing.
Breakfast was nice but I do believe when bacon is on the menu 1 strip is not sufficient.
The hosts are very friendly, nice people.
All in all, a nice relaxing stay.

+1
Our stay at top of the hill was excellent even though the weather was raining there is still so much to do and see in the hinterland. The cabins are cozy and well appointed and the little extras ie: grazing plate was amazing and all local produce . Greg and Barb are fantastic hosts and make you feel right at home, they have alot of knowledge about the local area and can suggest activities of you are at a loss , they made our stay an awesome experience. Breakfast was the best omelette I have ever had could not go past that. If you are looking for an adult getaway then I could not go past this location we will be back thanks so much for looking after us .

Perfect weekend getaway. Located 5min from Maleny (have the address as ‘Bald Knob’ in the gps) and about a min from the Barrel winery. Well equipped, clean and maintained cabins with beautiful valley views. The hosts are very friendly and Chris does cook a mean breakfast!

Hi Pam
Each cabin has one beautiful queen size bed with great views across the valley from the bed. If you don't want to share I would ask for 2 cabins. We loved this place & highly recommend.
Cheers Graeme
No dinner is not usually served- best to go up to Maleny they will arrange a cab
