My husband and I had an amazing stay at Malaney Tropical Retreat. The log cabin was well thought out with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast provisions were beautiful and generous. And the host was lovely and accommodating. The location is central to Malaney and Montville and close to lovely walking trails. The birdlife was beautiful too. We would stay again and recommend this place to others.

Our unit ”Seminyak” with Balinese decor was perched on the side of a hill with views of wooded hills surrounding a valley with a lake in the distance. The surrounding deck provided an ideal spot for breakfast or evening drinks watching the sunset. Maleny Tropical Resort is thorougly recommended

This resort situated between Montville and Maleny is an ideal place for a romantic weekend away. Each cabin is set away from each other and overlook the valley and the lake. The furnished balcony provides an ideal view of the sunset and the fog rolling in over the lake in the morning. The bungalow itself is spacious and well appointed with an ensuite bathroom and a separate kitchen/living room. The wood fire was a great touch as it got a little chilly in the evening. Overall a beautiful weekend away in an awesome resort that we would stay at again without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed at Melany Teopical Retreat for a few days as a mini holiday. We were both impressed by the setup of the individual cabins and the view was stunning. The host was lovely and provided the information we needed. We really enjoyed that the cabin was well equipped so we could at least dine in if we wanted. During our stay, there was a free shuttle service on offer from a nearby Cafe, Bar & Grill and went there for a dinner. Highly recommend if you're after a small getaway and change of scenery!

We stayed here for 2 nights for a little getaway in the main house bedroom. Lovely management and very friendly and helpful. Such a cozy, lovely room. Gorgeously decorated and had all we needed. The spa bath was an added bonus! Also offered a little fireplace but we did not use as wasn't cold enough. The bed was very comfy. Views were just gorgeous!! We had a very peaceful and serene stay. The continental breakfast was yummy also with plenty of food 😊 Can't wait to go again!

Yes this Malney Tropical Retreat was nice but in need of and update , TV And internet there was some maintenance very much needed like light blubs that had blown . The breakfast was not right : was toast in frig for the next morning and yogurt and cereal. This was not classed as a wedding day after breakfast. (It should have been a hot breakfast at least Bacon eggs tomatoes etc) for price.

The most amazing little getaway for our 4 year anniversary 🥰 we were greeted with kindness, given everything we needed in our sanua villa, had the best view (the best!!!!), kept warm with the fireplace and spa bath (plus the A/C if you needed), had awesome double head showers and given all necessary ammenities + we were a short trip to both Montville and Maleny which were a treat to explore! You will be beyond pleased when booking with Ken at the Maleny Tropical Retreat xx

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the Benoa. Maleny Tropical Retreat is the perfect place for anyone who needs to unwind, relax and recharge. Could not fault the friendliness and warm welcome that we received when we arrived. The Benoa was beautiful and extremely comfortable with the most outstanding views no matter what the weather was. The place was so clean and practical as well. Also is a short drive to many cool things to do and shops. Definitely recommend staying here. ♡

The view- it is magnificent, jaw-dropping scenery from the balcony, the bedroom and lounge area. The owner thoughtfully placed all items you need for the stay including fresh grinded coffee, good breakfast(fresh milk, bread, assorted fruits, 1 litre tub of gormet yogurt, butter, jams), full size fridge and freezer, cooking utensils, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towel, gown, extra pillows… We only needed our clothes and toothpaste and toothbrush. Within 8 minute car-ride distance, there is a beautiful local eatery and they can come and pick you up and drop you off if you plan to drink some alcohol. (The very nice lady(I presumed one of the owners of the property) introduced us this place and we had a really great time and beautiful food) Australia zoo is around 13 minutes away so very convenient. We are definitely coming back to this property and next time, we planned to stay at least for a week and explore local area.…
