my husband and I had a very pleasant overnight getaway on 25th May, the suite (Bush Orchid) was spacious, a separate bathroom and luggage room provided privacy and comfort. The quaint lounge room with a cosy fire made the prior and after dinner (at a local restaurant) very relaxing. Our breakfast the following morning was delicious and full of local produce....

Let us start from the positives: the hotel is set in a lovely period house which makes for a cosy, homely and welcoming atmosphere. The location is central but tranquil, ideal to explore the sunshine Coast hinterland area. Having said that, as other reviewers have observed, the quality of service did not live up to our expectations, and certainly did...

Our stay did not liVe up to our expectations from Trip Advisor reviews and website. This is not a patch on similar priced historic home hotels we have stayed at. The room had not been aired and smelt musty. There was evidenc of mould on the tatty blind. The bathroom was freezing and the shower rose reminiscent of caravan parks...

While spending time at Maleny Lodge on a 'girls weekend', my young son was injured while staying with grandparents. The owners allowed me to take over another room and keep him with me and gave him a lovely big breakfast the next morning. They also kept topping up the beautiful Montville Coffee for one tired Mum. I was so impressed...

We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were allowed access to our room earlier than we expected and thus had ample time to rest before getting ready for the wedding. Very comfortable room and good amenities and a great home cooked breakfast the following morning set us up for a day's shopping in downtown Maleny and...

We spent 4 nights in this lovely old home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eloise is the new proprietor, having taken over from the old owners about 2 weeks ago. We found Eloise to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was named the Bush Orchid and is situated at the back of the house receiving lots of light (thus...

We stayed here for a night while visiting Maleny for a wedding. The owners were really lovely and welcoming. The breakfast on the veranda was awesome. I loved the beautiful old Queenslander home, each room has an ensuite and lovely period furniture.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights recently in this wonderful accommodation place in the centre of Maleny. Despite being on the main street, no noise comes into this beautiful old house that has been modernised with comforts such as ensuites, heaters and so on. Even though my husband is allergic to cats, he was fine as the 2 resident...
