That's why we like to keep things simple.... Unique cottages (1 & 2 bedroom) reflect a comfortable simplicity that puts you close to nature in total privacy. Guests appreciate our direct check in service taking you straight to your cottage without any fuss on arrival. A feature that also allows us to be as flexible as we can with check in and check out times. While generous breakfast baskets and special packages are available, our base rates are accommodation only so you can plan your escape or special occasion with flexibility and value. The valley induces restfulness. I had big plans to go out on the deck and meander my way through a book, but the natural sights and sounds of the valley captivated my attention then lulled me to sleep. My husband and I hadn't had a good holiday for about 7 years. I couldn't have wished for a better space to reconnect. We could have easily stayed at the cottage for all our needs were provided for there. However, the lure of Maleny, Eumundi Markets and Montville were a little hard to resist. The day was busy, but it was easy to recover in the restful space that Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat creates. The spa might have helped too.

This location was amazing with vast views of the valley, forest and dam. It was very quiet during our stay. There's a handful of cottages on site but you won't know it from your accommodation as they are all well separated by both distance and vegetation. The room was cozy and comfortable, the spa bath massive, and the welcome basket was more than generous. It's a short drive to Maleny and we were lucky with our timing to be able to hit Eumundi and Montville on a Wednesday (a Saturday would work also but may be busier). I'd highly recommend this place for a couple's getaway and my wife and I plan on visiting again in the future.

We stayed here, in the Tallowood cottage, with some friends for a weekend to attend a wedding in nearby Maleny. We found the accommodation comfortable and beautiful; very private, though only 15 mins' drive from the Maleny town centre. Despite warm weather during the day, evenings were cool enough to allow use of the fireplace. We also found the baths (a larger spa bath in the main bedroom, and a smaller spa bath with a better view in the other bedroom) wonderful. Though we did not use them, I would note that the television and sound systems are older, and probably not quite ready for a movie marathon. Instead, we used a small bluetooth speaker we had brought, which was more than powerful enough for the living space.

We stayed in Rosegum Cottage for three nights. Whispering Valley is in Witta and is a beautiful, rustic, yet very comfortable place to be. It was great to get away from traffic and city noises and just to listen to the breezes and birdsongs. The cabin was well setup and sitting in front of the wood fire place is a great way to spend an evening. The beds were very comfortable. I can't comment on the pillows as we always take our own when we travel domestically. It is one less variable to worry about. There is plenty of room in the cabin. The weber bbq on the verandah is a nice touch. We enjoyed a few nice meals cooked on it. It is a 15 minute drive from Maleny and a great base to explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. I just love driving around the area and I love the hinterland. I would definitely stay here again. Glen and Angela were lovely hosts. Unobtrusive but very helpful. Definitely follow their directions to get there. Both Google Maps and my Navman took me to someone's driveway on the other side of the valley! Note: If you lose or have intermittent mobile coverage then just take a few deep breaths and relax. The hosts warn you of that when you book.…

What an amazing gem of a place to find. From the fabulous interior to the excellent range of wines on offer & the excellent amenities. Only able to stay one night, will be back for longer. Relaxing, birdwatchers paradise. Friendly & informative owner. Book more than one night.

Wind whispering through the trees and bird calls at dawn and dusk set a lovely backdrop to these comfortable cottages. Far enough away from the hub bub for a peaceful retreat, but close enough to enjoy Maleny, Montville and the surrounding countryside.

We loved staying here. We had 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was so peaceful and relaxing. A delicious platter was provided on arrival and breakfast for the duration of our stay. We sat by the fire at night and watched some movies and in the mornings we sat on the deck and enjoyed our breakfast whilst looking at the scenery. So enjoyable.

Most amazing couples getaway ever! The contactless check in was awsome, we received a detailed text message how to get to our cabin and the keys were in the door waiting. Room was very tidy. Most spectacular views. Extremely secluded, we couldn’t see or hear anyone next to us. Would definitely recommend for a couples get away. It’s fifteen mins outside Main Street of maleny so make sure you have supplies (champagne) lol as it’s a long trip to duck to the bottle o! The spa bath overlooking the bush is gorgeous. Feeding the donkeys was so cute! Owners were so helpful and kind. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Awesome three night stay, couldn’t rate the property any higher. Everything was perfect! The cottage was comfy, lovely fire place and spa, plenty of privacy but visits from the local wildlife was very welcome each morning.

Rested and restored was how we felt after staying at beautiful Whispering Valley. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing four day break - very comfy bed and warm fireplace for the chilly nights. The wine and chocolates on arrival were much appreciated. The property was lovely to walk around and it was a short drive to Maleny and Montville which offer heaps of food options and interesting artisan shops to peruse. Thank you to our lovely hosts for everything.
