Omg the views!!! They are definitely breathtaking and you could stare at the mountains for hours. We were in cottage 1 which meant we got the sunrise and sunset, the balcony was fully private unlike other cottages. The place was clean and tidy and you could just see the pride Christine and Norm had in the place. We got breakfast daily which you just cooked yourself, I loved this as we could get up as early or as late as you want. They have thought of everything even bird seed, so easy to stay there. We will definitely be back again to try out another cottage!

We were lucky to spend a weekend at Rosebrook Cottages. Walking in to Cottage 2 we were blown away by the spectacular view from the spa and the gorgeous fit out. We felt right at home with all the care and attention Norm and Christine take to provide everything you need for a carefree and very comfortable stay.
If you’re looking for a place to get away while still very close to Maleny you’ve found it! Look no further. Highly recommend.

Hosts Christine an Norm were great and super helpful.
I couldn’t think of a better place to be than relaxing in a beautiful cottage and soaking in the spa looking over the misty valley on a wet weekend.
The cottages are extremely well set up, comfortable, and super cosy………can’t recommend highly enough!!

Stayed in Cottage 2 and would highly recommend it. Private with lovely views and nice touches. Excellent food for you to cook. Really close to Maleny. Spa worked well with great view of the sunset. Make sure you visit Gardeners Falls if the weather’s warm.

Spent a wonderful long weekend at one of the four cottages in Maleny. Very clean, quaint cottages with wonderful views of the valley, just a few minutes out of the town. Plentiful and extensive breakfast supplies provided as part of the nightly tariff. Parking provided and visits from the friendly fauna as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No wifi, but that’s the point.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, what a mistake! We booked months in advance and were told via email that we would have a cabin with 360 degree views, an upstairs area, king size bed. Well, we lucked out, were given a cabin with no upstairs, a pretty uncomfy bed and less than 180 degree view.
Instead of windows with fly screens, what could be assumed an essential in the mountains, there are louvres. My husband woke up with a giant dragonfly on his face one morning and each time we wanted to use the spa we had to clean out all the insects that had crawled in over night. Not to mention avoiding the ants in the bathroom.
We were told we would receive fresh bread everyday - we were given it twice during our stay Mon - Fri. Which would have been enough, it's just another case of where we felt we were told something different to the actual service.
The most dissapointing thing was the service, when we discussed our concerns when leaving. I was told I was wrong, that we were given the best cabin, when I communicated that we had been told there would be a king bed an upstairs etc... I was told, "well that cabin was booked out" when I said I had booked months in advance there was no response. Each time I was made to feel the one in the wrong, when I left I mentioned I would write a review, I was told to "do what you want sweetheart." Lesley called and left a message on my phone, which in the most polite terms can only be described as, what I percieved, as sarcasm.
In short, we were given the wrong cabin and when we asked about it were spoken to pretty rudely. The service was not as advertised/email/communicated. I am heartbroken, this was our honey moon, the first holiday we had ever been on together and we booked the wrong place!

We stayed a fantastic 5 nights as a short trip away for our honeymoon. After the long drive to get there we were greeted with a beautiful cheese platter and champagne. It was wonderful! We also had dinner arrange for us in the fridge to cook up - we had that much cheese we didnt really need dinner so saved it for the next night. The bed was lovely and comfy and the views over the valley were beautiful. The spa and fire are in the right position especially for a cold winter night. Lesley was great and also organised a picnic for us (compliments of the best man) and we had a wonderful picnic - and that food even lasted us a couple of meals. We also loved being able to cook our own breakfast each day with the fresh ingredients supplied. The accommodation was clean and tidy. The only thing that worried me a bit during the night was the wind - it ended up blowing a gale and I thought our cottage was going to blow down - but my husband assured me it wouldnt, and it didnt. We had a fantastic honeymoon and we thank Lesley for the wonderful stay and we will definately be recommending this place to our friends and family.

My husband & I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Rosebrook Cotteges (cottege 1). The location is brilliant, with sunsets that just last & last. From the minute you arrive & walk across the little bridge to the cottege any city stress just melts away. The cottege was very comfy - bed & couch were awesone & architectually well designed with a room overlooking the range dedicated to the spa - lie back & gaze at the stars! There were chocolates & rose petals on the bed & more then ample food supplies in the fridge - all from ocal Maleny suppliers. The fridge also boasts a well stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices. There are 4 cotteges but each seems to be nicely snuggled giving the illusion of complete privacy. The hosts were lovely & discreet. We didnt want to leave. If your planning a trip to the HInterland you cant pass up on staying here - 5 stars.

My partner and I love the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, and particularly around Maleny. We have stayed in over 20 different cottages and cabins over the years and have never returned twice to an accommodation - always wanting to try somewhere new. We stayed at Rosebrook for 4 nights last October, and decided it was time to break that rule. We just finished another 11 night stay and can highly recommend the property.
So why now? The log fire, views across the farmland valleys and comfy bed but It's always the little things that make the difference:
The hugely generous breakfast supplies - Lesley gives you so much breakfast food to begin with, all local delicious produce, and then for longer stays more bread and sausages arrive! Great value and all this food is included in the best per day rate we have seen for a long stay up on the range. The fresh rose petals and chocolates on your bed on arrival, the extra towels, the decorative soaps and bathroom products. Oh and did i mention the bird feeder visited by dozens of local birds, the beautiful cows that graze nearby plus the odd kangaroo and rabbit bounding thru the paddock! The sunsets are magnificent and on a clear night, the stars are awesome. One of the biggest pluses is the closeness to the Maleny Township - while many other properties are a 20 min drive to town, this property is a 20 minute walk.
We had the doors and windows open often and though there are no fly screens on the windows, we only encountered the odd harmless moth or mayfly and didn't experience any mosquitos. The trees appear to be trimmed regularly to maximize the views. I'm not sure any of the cabins have a king size bed but the queens in cabins 2 and 4 were great. On arrival we were advised a fresh loaf of bread would be delivered every 2nd day, which it was and that was more than ample for two people. We were flat out finishing each loaf before the next one arrived! Although not 360 degree views, the cabins have northerly aspects with hinterland and farmland views. The newest cabin (4) is more spacious, sleeping four with one of the queen beds upstairs in a loft with its own little covered deck. We found cabin 2 on the NE corner to be more cosy with delightful deck views.
