Motel Oasis was pleasant, but certainly not great. The bed was comfortable but the room itself urgently needs an update. The photo of the bathroom certainly wasn't like my bathroom - rundown, smelly and limited facilities. The room itself was fine but basic . The cutlery and plates were mismatched and consisted of 3 dinner plates, one bread and butter plate, mixed cutlery, really dirty cups and two glasses, one cracked. They did supply tea towel and washing up liquid etc and the usual condiments. As I said the bed was comfortable but the worst thing was the dust. The room looked clean but it had obviously not been dusted for ages. The pictures handing above the bed were covered in dust - move the cushions and the dust was layered in the corners of the chairs. A an asthmatic this was a real issue. I didn't get to try the restaurant (which I hear us good) or the pool (which looked inviting). Office hours were varied and needed to ring the manager. As stated above, Motel Oasis really needs some work, looking tun down. The motel was OK, but not something to rave about.

We were pleasantly surprised with Motel Oasis, we did not expect that level of service and quality for its location.

The king room was great, could not fault the room. The room was quite modern, the bed was so comfy and we had a perfect few nights sleep. It’s been awhile since we have seen such a clean room, the rooms were immaculate and stocked with all the essentials.

The motel is dog friendly which is a rare but lovely addition, which made it even better as we were up for a dog show for the weekend.

The restaurant really blew us away with the presentation and quality of the food, we have dined in 5 star restaurants that have been average and the restaurant was amazing! It was superb.

We will definitely be back next time we are in town and I would highly recommend you to give Motel Oasis a go :)

The staff are very friendly at the motel and we’re happy to help with anything. The rooms have a nice Queens and we’re dog friendly. The only downside is the rooms we were in were a little tired an dated and need a little bit of an upgrade. The motel is under new ownership.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this motel. We arrived around 5 p.m. only to find the reception closed. We had to phone someone who came very quickly from inside and unlocked the door. The first thing that I noticed in the reception area was the smell of beer. Check-in was quick. The room was tired-looking with the vinyl floor having a number of scratches where the vinyl top coat was torn away. The refrigerator did not have a door to the freezer section (inside the bar fridge) so our freezer block did not freeze. The room was for 3 people but only had one flat dinner plate, no cereal bowls, teaspoons, or water glasses. There were two cups and two sets of knife, fork, and spoon. There were no hand towels, face washers, or bath mat in the bathroom. There were no coathangers, no tissues. And to top it all off the TV was not working. The two cloth-covered low chairs had dirt marks all over them. The office was again closed, so we did not bother to even try to get anything rectified. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets had not even been tucked in properly around the edges. The shower was great, lots of hot water.

Please do not stay here. The room was not cleaned to any standard and it was necessary to purchase anti-bacterial wipes to clean the bathroom amenities and surfaces of the room. It was necessary to also purchase a mat for the shower stall. I am not sure who over is cleaning understands how to do so. Hairs in the shower stall still, mould and grime in the corners and edges of the stall etc. the towels and sheets are laundered offsite and as such, we’re clean. I would not use the kettle and you were meant to wash any dishes yourself, even though there was no kitchen sink. 🤢. The outside of the rooms was unkept with leaves, dirt and cobwebs. There was a restaurant onsite but we were not game to eat there given how dirty the rooms were.

This motel was one of the worst we've ever stayed in. Rooms were a bit run down, no blankets or doonars on beds, no blankets in room, expensive restaurant with chef who didn't know how to cook and with an attitude problem. Office closed early so no chance to remedy things. Staff seemed very inexperienced

How true is that saying, we have been travelling for days, walked into Motel Oasis and thought just another motel.....how wrong were we. The room was great, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, creating a relaxing feeling.
The restaurant, don't miss the opportunity of eating there, the food is beyond good, the decor transports you out of a motel environment.... all this at a reasonable price, try, I think you will be glad you did, we were.

Dissappointed with King room. The photo on the internet is nothing like our room was. The bed linen and towels were clean and the bed was comfy. The room was really shabby as was the top cover and cushions on the bed. Furniture old and worn. White window blinds were extremely dusty. Bathroom was really out of date. The whole place needs renovating. The young manager was pleasant, but the reception door was always locked. Never saw anyone walking around. We stayed for 2 nights. Wasnt busy at all. Sorry wouldnt recommend.

Was part of the Mini Car Club group who were visiting Kingaroy for the "Motors in Motion". Tracey and Brian were the best hosts. They were very professional with all the arrangements leading into the week-end and couldn't have been more helpful whilst staying at the Motel. 35 people enjoyed a great dinner in the Restaurant and Buffet breakfast next morning. Rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Would recommend to any Car Clubs or groups who want to enjoy great hospitality. Our Car Club has already booked for a weekend next July.

We visited the restaurant Midnight at the Oasis and had a very good experience! Lovely atmosphere, great staff & amazing food for a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend. We stayed at Peppertree cabins across the street and their lovely staff advised us to try it for dinner.
