Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The thought of cycling the South Burnett Rail Trail drew us to Kingaroy. We booked into the BIG4 Kingaroy Holiday park and from that moment Russell and Helen were incredibly helpful.

We needed some advice re cycling service providers, no problem. Decided to arrive one day earlier, no problem. Super friendly welcome on arrival.

The park is well laid out. Easy to park. Powered sites have water and electricity that is easily accessed. Showers and toilets, spotless.

During our stay both Russell and Helen popped in to ensure everything was fine. Advice regarding local vineyards.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kingaroy. Highly recommend the Big 4 Holiday Park and sincere thanks to Russell and Helen for making us feel so welcome.

Best Regards

Mark N T

We stayed with the team for 2 nights and was a great experience. Facilities exceptionally clean and tidy with first class assistance from the team. Would highly recommend. The park is close enough for a leisurely walk into town. Sites are a good size and rest of park clean and well looked after.
Camp kitchen great set up with fridge BBQ and Pizza oven all very clean as well as a fire bucket for the cold nights.

Ours was a one week caravan stay. Managers are often out and about in the park and always say g'day. Sites are grassed and flat with an option of a concrete slab. 2 Amenities blocks. One is newly refurbished an very shmick. The other is older but still very nice and sparkling clean Showers are hot with plenty of water pressure and cubicles are generously sized. The older camp kitchen is currently being refurbished. There is an outdoor BBQ area next to the good sized pool. Overall a very nice place to stay

The couple who run this park are very friendly and helpful. The amenities are spacious and have undergone a funky renovation. We particularly enjoyed the music in the amenities!

There is a very good restaurant in the hotel across the road and we walked to the RSL in town in about 20 minutes (probably a five minute drive).

Lovely clean park. Friendly staff. The bathrooms have been renovated in a really nice way with corrugated iron feature walls, showers good & laundry clean with laundry trolley to use & spare pegs if needed. 5 minute bike ride to main town centre along the bike path

A great park with friendly managers. We only decided to stay when we arrived in town and the reception managed to find a site in a full park. The amenities were spotless and the nightly communal firepit was a great way to meet fellow travellers

A very clean park and we required a slab area for our van and amenities very clean.Close to town and the RSL was great for a meal and fishing at BP DAM requires permit ($10 for a week) but great day outing for a picnic. Then you can come back for a refreshing swim in the park pool or game of table tennis or cook yourself a pizza. Our only disappointment was the amount of vans coming and going everyday. Feeling like a train station and would have like a spot as we booked for 2 weeks in a less noisy spot with banging and crashing and yelling from partners parking. Although it is great to see a park having travellers.
Note the park is near road and you can hear traffic and fly over from small aircraft happens quite often.
Over all this is a great park to see the Peanut factory,Lavender farm and lookouts and Sunflowers when in bloom. If you looking for a clean, friendly and convenient caravan park for a weekend or longer then park your van here.Enjoy your stay!

A Big4 Holiday Park. Friendly reception. Easy to find. Given incorrect instructions on their local map and we drove down the one-way road the wrong way. Doug (caretaker/worker) gave us excellent instructions and guided our van in marvellously well. Only issue was we were jammed in right next to our fellow vanners which wasn’t really a problem for an overnight stay, however we did book months in advance and would have expected a better spot.

Amenity codes are provided for entry and the Amenities were fresh and clean, brightly painted and well laid out. 2 amenity blocks. Piped music (of local radio station) through amenities speakers which was a good idea. They had humorous sayings of Jo Bjelke Petersen on the back of the ladies’ loo door.

At 4.30pm they had drinks at the firepit and around 5pm hundreds of lorikeets arrived and landed in a back tree – lots of tweeting but they soon settled down.

Although we didn’t go to it, there is a restaurant across the road (at a nearby motel).

Very average park for the price. Plenty of free camps in the area including Wondai (30km north) which has free hot showers, clean toilets, free water & dump point. Alternatively Crows Nest Tourist Park is much nicer in a beautiful country location.

Hi Darren, we really appreciate your previous 5 stays this year, and as we have already said, we are truly sorry that we couldn't accommodate you on the specific site that you requested last week, due to it being occupied. If you have found other parks that are more suitable for you, we are pleased for you and wish you happy travels.

Hands down the best well equipped, clean caravan park we have ever stayed at. The facilities are top notch. The amenities are creatively presented & I loved how they provide disinfectant to allow for that continual cleanliness to happen. The lawns are watered and mowed regularly. Lovely green space. I loved the touch of potted plants around the place & the heated pool & pool area are an awesome bonus. The camp kitchen is also amazing.
