I booked 5 days for a business trip in the first instance. As a result of the floods and the roads being cut off, I had no other option than to extend my stay to 12 nights. This was a very difficult time for all of Kingaroy, as the supermarkets were running out of stock and several service stations had run out of fuel. The kindness and words of encouragement and support offered by the staff kept me strong - never underestimate the power of a kind word during a crisis. Thank you Kingaroy Country Motel Thank you

Our guests become our family when they are here for extended periods of time and we love looking after them. I hope your return home wasn't stressful and you arrived safely. The room was clean but not rather compact. We found it almost impossible to get hot water for the two nights we were there -either in the morning or at night. It is nice quiet location and easy to walk to restaurants and walking tracks.

I am sorry you experienced problems with the hot water. There was a short period where we had installed new hot water systems and we had problems, this has been rectified by a non return being installed in the line. It is unfortunate you stayed with us during the couple of days that it took to get the issue sorted out with the plumber. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

We stayed 3 nights & while the room was clean it was very small. There was not really anywhere to put suitcases etc. I was also curious that the room was not serviced during our stay even though they advertise as being serviced daily. When I questioned this I was told that we needed to put towels in the shower if we wanted them changed. I was fine with using the same towels however nothing else was done except the main bin was emptied but the bathroom one was not. The hand & body lotion ran out on the first night & was not refilled. Not good value for money considering we had come from a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment for $130 per nite & this was $125 a nite.

Sorry to read your disappointment here. We encourage our guests to report to reception if there is anything we can help you with. The rooms are serviced daily with the bed made and bins emptied, general tidy up. We do not touch any belongings so if they are left on the bed, we dont remove them. We are in drought in the country, so we are conscious of water usage, hence the reason we request you use your towels for more than one day. As you stated above, if left in the shower they will be replaced, otherwise they are hung for reuse. Our prices are comparative to the other motels in Kingaroy, so when occupancy is running high, our rates are adjusted accordingly. Common practice in most motels.

We stopped here for a night while travelling through the area. The lady at reception was very friendly & helpful, the room had everything we needed and was clean, and we enjoyed relaxing in the pool area. Great value for money in Kingaroy.

Part of group booking of 15 persons staying 4 nights (Mon to Thurs). Motel whilst aged is in good condition, rooms are clean, breakfasts are great value for money. Bathrooms are modern and the water pressure is excellent. Road noise during the night is non existent.

Great clean rooms with a big comfy bed & an awesome shower. The perfect place to stay after a big days ride. Under cover parking & friendly staff made this a place we will revisit. Would highly recommend to any visitors of the area.

Spent last night here while visiting Kingaroy. Helpful and friendly staff and appropriately priced. We were impressed by the room's cleanliness and the breakfast was tops. Will stay there again and no to book ahead as the motel was about 100% booked last night.

Have stayed here once before for my nephews wedding, service back then was excellent, the same can be said now as well. The rooms are always clean and tidy, the staff / owners are very friendly, and want to help where possible.My only disappointment this time around, was no access to the free WiFi, this was caused apparently by a fault in the signing in protocols and the daily passwords, the owner did try to rectify this problem, but it didn't happen unfortunately. Maybe next time around??
