Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great Motel for a quick stay in the country. There’s plenty of room options from small rooms suitable for 1-2 people to very large accommodation for the larger family or group. We also saw accommodation for those with disabilities / special needs. The location is in the heart of Kilcoy close to everything you’d need for a pleasant stay. Met the owner who’s very pleasant and helpful.

I just want to say how wonderful the owner was in accommodating me! I popped in to see if he had WiFi to upload a last minute uni assignment and he was more than happy to help! Cheers! 100% recommend the service here and would happily come to stay and work here

Decided to stay here and we're pleased we did. Owner greets us warmly and was no hassle to check us in. Room was very neat, tidy and clean. Room had double and single bed and tea, coffee facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend staying here - no frills but great stay.

Rustic but clean. They are close to shops and places to get a meal, but they don't do their own meals. The bathroom is old school and weird, but works fine. The service was poor, they claimed they didn't have our booking when I knew they had it. They lied to us, but later apologised after I had a chat with them. The other motel is better, it is cheaper, service excellent and it's a far nicer place.

All good so far but why do I have to contend with an average 30 inch tv from 15 feet away when decent sized LCD tv sets can be bought for a dime a dozen in 2017.... cheap! Otherwise I checked in 1 hour ago and the welcome was very warm after a hard day's work!

Wonderful 1 night stay. Quiet room. Hot shower and comfy bed. The hosts were very helpful and a laundry room on site for busy travellers. Although next to the main road, I heard nothing and slept well in this room. It had all the amenities I needed.

We had the most lovely stay at this motel while holidaying in January. Accommodating a family of 6 is not always easy these days but Garry and Lesleigh made us feel so welcome. Their warm and generous hospitality was amazing and we enjoyed our well appointed and spacious accommodation. 'The Barn' was perfect for our family and we look forward to returning in the future. Thanks again for making our time in Kilcoy so enjoyable.

Overnight stay and owner is very friendly and helpful. Pointed us in the right direction for a nice meal. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Fridge, microwave and biscuits for your cup of tea. Will definitely stay here again I next travels.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very nice and was clean. The toilet area was possibly slightly less private than you might want if you stayed with friends. Very friendly manager, and helpful. The pool area was also very nice wth a barbecue. Good for a couple nights stay. Serves cereal for breakfast, if you want it. Comfy beds. The only bad thing was that if you have a room with one double bed and one single, you can't see the T.V from the single bed. Over all a very nice place.
