This was my second stay here. The first was 3 years ago up the office end of the park, and without drought, and it was great despite it being packed over Easter. This stay was an average November weekend so plenty of people around without being over crowded but I was shocked at the neglected world at the far end...

We came here the first time around three years ago and have been back many times. We will be back this December for our first Somerset Christmas. This is a great park but you do need something to keep the older kids entertained, either a boat or kayak or something. There's a park for the younger ones. The reception has...

We booked our site many months ago and we were not let down. Heaps of room, wildlife, awesome views, amenities good (weekend campers at times made it hard for the cleaners and we do wish the young cleaner would clean 2 handed and not talking on her mobile and cleaning one handed), friendly staff - thanks. There was a group...

We stayed in the log cabin. Shared this with my 2 sisters and my brother in law. We had arranged a family weekend get together. Fantastic. My other sister and her family, nieces and families stayed in the near by cabins. We were all very comfortable. Great place to stay some went on the lake in a boat some went...

Lake Somerset Holiday Park is a spacious park with huge van sites. Lots of birdsong in the mornings, kangaroos near the stretch of swimming shore, crystal clear waters and many other happy campers ready to stop and chat. There are many different amenity blocks and boat ramps. We saw many successful fishermen and were lucky to sample the much sought...

Thank you for sharing your great experience - we are so happy to hear the park with its fauna and amazing location provided you with a wonderfully relaxing space. There have been a few good fish being caught lately and we are pleased the red claw wasn't hiding from you. Thanks again and look forward to welcoming you back Linda...

I'm going to tell you that this place is rubbish so you are never tempted to come here, but that's not true! It's fantastic. Heaps of room, great facilities, lots to do, and nice staff who are very helpful. I think this might be my favourite camp site. We have booked for 8 nights at Christmas.

We just had a weekend of camping at Somerset Holiday Park and it was lovely. A big plus for me when camping is the quality of the amenities area and I was pleasantly surprised. Our amenities block was modern and clean. I didn't feel like I needed a full hazmat suit to enter. 😜 We will go again for sure.

We have stayed here twice before because of its very pleasant location. It is a clean and very well run holiday park covering a very large area on a peninsula on a very large lake. There were more people here on this occasion possibly because we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. We don't mind a certain amount of...

We stayed for three nights (Fri-Sun) and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing environment. It was great as this particular weekend, it was quiet so our young toddlers could walk around quite freely. It is great to go here and relax, do a spot of fishing, go for a walk, etc. I haven't experienced peak times and can only assume...
