Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed with a large group for the 3 days, nice and quiet, grounds well maintained and amenities clean with a rustic feel. With great warm weather and clear blue skies is very peaceful. Creek is great for those with young children with the low water level, pack reef shoes as rocks can be slippery. Owners very pleasant and welcoming, various tracks around the property was unsure if able to walk along however, priced really well for the 3 days, thank you for having us

My experience was awesome ! Like the way they don't tolerate noise of any kind. No music, radioes ,parties or just idiots. Good on you Sandy Creek ! One should be able to get away and relax. Stay away party goers , you will be kicked out ! The place is relaxing with plenty of wild life and great flat spots to set up your camp. Showers are hot and all amenities are clean

Spent the last few nights there.. host is a top bloke and only to keen to help out, also has a top trick for a good fast camp fire :-)
Grounds are very well kept, facilities are spotless, all the early morning wildlife made for a few good pics, and the lack of noise was just wonderful.
Looking forward to our next visit...

We went here and stayed in the private fig tree area, paid extra to have the area all to ourselves. It was a great family camping weekend until just before 6pm on the Saturday night the owner drove up and spoke so rudely to me I was disgusted. He demanded the music be turned off, no ifs or buts! I was in shock given the music was out of a standard stereo in a car and wasn't even loud! We were a family group, not a bunch of yobo's with a getto blaster going off. And there is a right and a wrong way to approach someone, his way was totally inappropriate and rude. So we will NOT be returning, rude owners!!!!

This spot is a treasure and is conveniently located less than an hour from Brisbane. The courteous folks at Sandy Creek Camping ensured our five day trip was a success. The campgrounds were clean and safe, the fire pits were numerous, the facilities were clean and spacious, and the setting was AMAZING. During our stay we saw deer, beautiful parrots, finches and other birds, a fox, fish, to name a few.
Sandy Creek is a beautiful spot to relax and welcomes the weary traveler with open arms. It really was like coming home. 10 out of 10! I'll be back, that's a certainty, and I'll bring my dog too! Thanks again to Brian and see you again soon.

This is such a wonderful camping facility.
Well maintained, quiet, lovely owners.... just couldn’t fault the experience.
We were there in peak season and it felt like we had the place almost to ourselves as the campsites are generously sized.
We took the dog, and she loved it.
And so much nature for kids to explore.
The rock hopping bush walk was a high point of the trip.
Fell asleep to the sounds of the creek running over the rocks.
Lay out looking at the spectacular show the stars put on every night we were there.
We will be back

We have just returned to camping after a long break. Our children now camping with their young have inspired us. Our choice of Sandy Creek Campin was a further inspiration.
It is a beautiful spot with large sites, big shady trees, a rocky, sandy creek and deer wallabies and pretty coloured birds to be seen.
Dogs under control are welcome, which thrills our little Heidi.
Fire pits are in each site and the friendly owner comes round daily to sell you some fire wood.
The campers understand this is a well run camp area and if their is a problem the owners live on site and ready to help.
We love the chance to get away from shopping, household chores and all that I T brings. What better place to go to than Sandy Creek Campin just 1 hr from the sunny coast and Brisbane.
We will be back for our 3rd visit, shortly ,hopefully with some of our family.

We have stayed in nearly all locations Brian and Narelle have to offer. Each time we are welcomed with open arms . Yes its off grid . No Power no phone. You get a very large campsite generally. so you can get next to someone else or be on your own. Yes off grid mean you miss soem things but Brian and Narelle offer Hot showers Clean amenties aith Sunday paper deliveries every week. Unless you ask you wont know what Brian and Narelle can help you with? Love this Place ?? It even has deer and wallabies at night if you are lucky? But the Birds during the day are very pretty!

Peaceful spot because Brian and Narelle keep it that way... no hoons, no hard partying...people who actually know and demonstrate camping etiquette. Perfectly maintained for an open bush setting and very clear amenities. We had a great extended family weekend and th grannies had a ball in the creek. We'll be back, Brian and Narelle, because you know what the camping experience should be!!! The Stinsons

Based on our experience and we was just playing a radio at 6pm from the car in a private area we paid extra for at normal volume so not to disturb everyone you'll be treated like we was, very bloody rudely! Don't risk your weekend being ruined by going there, we still can't believe how he spoke to us and the subsequent phone call asking to remove negative comments! Should have known it was odd with the cardboard cut out on the verandah as you arrive. The owner even made up a story in response to our google rating., check it out, such crap, should not be in tourism. Very appalling behaviour
