This is the most manicured camp area I have seen Wayne and family do a fantastic job creating an enjoyable camping area that is easily accessible to everyone Plenty of porta loos around the camp area and hot showers up on the hill

A campground second to none Hosted by Wayne and family, the nicest, friendliest people I have met. 5 minutes from Kenilworth with the Mary river running along the edge of the grounds. Showers and toilets spotless, cleaned thoroughly twice a day. Manicured lawn campsites, camp fires allowed and pet friendly. One of the best camp sites in the Sunshine Coast hinterlands. Not crowded even if there is 200 or more campers on site. Easy access from Brooloo-Imbil road onto camp ground. Wayne and his sons and partners really go that step further to make your stay enjoyable

On the banks of the Mary River with lots of flat grassy areas to park our van this is a great camp ground. There are plenty of fire pits and the owners are friendly and helpful. We camped with family and enjoyed it so much that we are going back again.

Located just 2km north of Kenilworth, Parkland Camping is very conveniently located and offers a 1.5km length of Mary River to camp along. It is all unpowered; the grounds are well maintained and the grass cut with at one point access to a beach on the river. Numbers are limited to 250 but when we went, mid-January so still school holidays, there were only four or five parties there: this means you can be well separated from others if you like. Fires are allowed: it would be preferable to have your own fire pit with you but they are allowed on the grass: the owner, who visits of an afternoon to collect payments (cash only) carries firewood for purchase. Very clean portaloo toilets are dispersed across the grounds and near the entry is a shower block, also clean, requiring $1 for three minutes of hot water. Owner is friendly and up for a chat. Good mobile reception across the grounds. Another great option in the popular Kenilworth area.
