The motel section sits atop the hotel itself and comprises many rooms bunched around two internal courtyards or overlooking the busy main street. Fortunately we were in a very quiet part of the building and heard no traffic noise. The room itself was a twin, with limited space for two people with two suitcases, but the essential amenities were all there and the en suite worked well. Best of all they gave us a number of those delicious twin-packed Arnotts Biscuits, something you increasingly don't find in motels these days. Whether you enter from the reception area or the back lane you will have many, very steep stairs to negotiate, quite an exhausting and tedious process and a real challenge to the mobility-impaired. The hotel/motel staff were all very pleasant, helpful and courteous and the meals in the Bistro of a quality way above mere "pub food".

Room Tip: Rooms closer to the rear lane would be much quieter than in the front.

Not a nice place to stay at all. Right on the road and with the entertainment downstairs making a lot of noise you can barely sleep! The rooms are clean but are old and run down. Not good value for money. Pictures look better than the actual establishment. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Arrived to find that we had to pay before seeing room. Booked for 2 nights. Then found no lift and stairs were longer than usual, as pensioners we were not thrilled carrying cases up. The room was dirty and generally poor. Complained, manageress came and apologized, said cleaner was off and they were using contract cleaners which resulted in lots of complaints. She offered to show us another room, she went in first and came out saying that required attention and she would refund our payment which was done straight away., This is the "Pub with no beer" from the famous song and seems to be hanging on that to bring people in.

We stayed in Ingham so we could head out to Wallaman Falls nice and early the following day. We found the Lees hotel online and booked with ease. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The ensuites are dated BUT the cleanliness makes up for this. The meals are generous in size and great value plus delicious and the lunch on Sunday is until 2pm which is great as most of the town was closed.

Very good service and food was also good. Rooms are a little old but are very clean. With the bar underneath the rooms it can sometime get noisy however the owners tend to put a lid on being too late and also do what they can to limit noise outside.

Location was not the ideal, but still very nice place for us to stay for two nights. We booked a family unit with two bedrooms. Very spacious, clean and with the balcony space it was very relaxing private space for us. Parking was not convenient though, an inherited issue with the location. I liked the place. And recommend anyone.

A very central location within the township and very easy check-in service via 24 hour kiosk. The room was perfect for our one night stay, with modern decor and an amazing shower head. There is beer available!

Response from Helen P, Manager at Lees Motel
Responded 24 June 2015
Thank you Lynnda, we are so pleased you stayed, and thought the bed was comfy. Trish and I spent a lot of time making sure that when we replaced all the beds with brand-new ones, that we made sure there were comfortable enough for us to spend every night on, and those are the ones we chose. Once again, thank you for your kind comments .
