Had the most wonderful relaxing time with the host who was so helpful and friendly and so accommodating when we got there and his time to show my wife an I around magnetic Island, relaxing in the heated pool which is set at 28 degrees, location was ideal, not too far from beach, surrounded by tranquil natural bushland with occasional visits from the wildlife, I would recommend to anyone to stay at this b&b.
Phil is one of the best host that we have come across in years, Griffin (dog) was also friendly and playful, we will be going back for many years to come. Keep up the good work 😃😃👍👍.

Craig & Shiz, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It is appreciated as is having the doors open again. I am fortunate to live on this beautiful island and even more fortunate to be able to share it with the two of you. You'll always be welcome and I look forward to your return. Importantly I am glad you both a had a good break. Life's too short, remember to take them when you can! Best wishes Philip & Griffin.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful home and Philip was an excellent host with a perfect hand for a great breakfast. He recommended great places to go to, affordable and good restaurants and showed us spots where we could see cute koalas, feed wallabies and find turtles on the beach. It was a great pleasure to talk to Philip while enjoying a cup of tea in his backyard. Thank you, Philip, for a wonderful time at your Bed and Breakfast. You are a really special person! And Griffin is the best dog for this place.

We've just finished our second stay with Philip and his mate Griffin and yet again absolutely loved our stay.

Out first stay was a couples weekend away in one of the queen rooms and this time we brought the kids and used the cottage at the back. Both times the accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. Philip always thinks of the little things to make out stay even more enjoyable.

From the moment we arrive we feel spoilt, the welcome drinks and chats about local activities, the beautiful gardens, animal and bird life and a host that goes above and beyond.

He cooks a delicious breakfast on the patio or reserves a table for you at Nourish cafe. Both options are delicious!

It is a couple of minutes drive from the Horseshoe bay esplanade, so it is handy to have a car, but Philip does have bikes available for you to use.

We're Townsville locals and wanted something different from our normal hotel/motel stay. Couldn't recommend it more. Thanks again Philip, we'll be back.

I would give this more than 5 stars if I could !! absolutely loved it here and like all the previous comments Phil is a fantastic host who can't do enough for you, he knows everything about the island and can plan it all for you, the property itself is set back from the main road and a few minutes' walk to the bus stop which will take you all over the island, horseshoe bay is probably around a good 20 minute walk,
the rooms are spacious and clean with a very large bathroom and lovey shower.
the wonderful breakfast is severed outside whist you watch all the wildlife around you as the property sits on the edge of the national park.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who visit the island, you will not be disappointed!!

We stayed two nights at Phil’s B&B and it was amazing! Phil is a great host and goes the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay and see all the highlights of magnetic island. Unfortunately we had quite a bit of rain during our stay, but Phil spoilt us by driving us around with Griffin so we could enjoy the island without getting soaked. Also the brekkie was overcomplete and the room really comfortable and clean. When we visit Australia again we will definitely come back!

We spent four days in this wonderful B&B on Magnetic Island, which is located a 15 minutes walk to Horseshoe Bay where you find some lovely restaurants and cafés and a beach. We lived in a seperate house surrounded by a beautiful garden with colourful birds and wallabies. Phil, the host, cares for everything. In the morning he prepared a wonderful breakfast with lots of fruits and a great coffee on his terrace. He gave us lots of tipps where to find koalas and wallbies on the island and even lent us really comfortable beach chairs to enjoy the sunset at West Point. It was a perfect stay and we can highly recommend this B&B!

I had the most wonderful time at the B&B. Philip is the most inspiring person I‘ve ever met. He not only showed me the island in a very unique way but made me understand nature more. Moreover he really cared I will have a great time. He even cut vegetables & fruit to take out and feed the wallabys.

The accommodation was perfect. I could see in every corner how he takes care of the rooms and the garden. Same for the breakfast, healthy, delicious and nicely prepared.

If you are looking for a unique experience and get a real taste of living on the island, you have to stay at Philips B&B.

Me and my family we’ve spent 3 nights at the B&B.
A marvelous experience for all of us.
Apart from the fact this is a very nice B&B our host Phil really did everything to make the most out of our days spent in his B&B, starting in the morning with a delicious breakfast and some suggestions of things worth to see or do. In the evening we watched the wallabies passing by in the garden and in the surroundings. Phil took the time to drive some of us around to spot some wallabies
Highly recommended to try this B&B

I can't fault the accommodation or the host.
The accommodation was just perfect, so peaceful/tranquil and a great location.
The breakfast provided by Philip was fantastic, not to mention his banter and funny stories.
His dog Griffin was an added bonus, he greeted us each morning with a new toy.
Philip could not do enough for us, he was such a great host, his local knowledge was priceless, made our time on the island so much more enjoyable.
