Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived on Easter Sunday: Told to pick up the key in the box as the owners wouldn’t be there. We paid $38 for a service - it’s not an Airbnb it’s a camp site. Paperwork didn’t include the WIFI p/w, we had to call them. Lacking in service in my opinion. Our caravan was literally on top of 4 other caravans. Very very small sites. We were there 4 1 night - they could have given us a site away from the 3 families surrounding us. Plenty of empty sites. Total lack of care. Open camp kitchen ( fridge tv microwave sink ). Amenities were fantastic with self contained ensuite. But....the camp site had no one onsite: never experienced that b4 anywhere else. As an owner you can’t simply take off on your own holiday with a camp site half full of campers that you are responsible for.

We camped here for a couple of nights. Camp grounds are level, shaded, and grassed. Even though it's near a main road, the noise is minimal. Amenities are unisex, with each cubicle containing a shower and toilet. Unfortunately, the shower curtains are too short, and allow water to spill onto the bathroom floor. This water mixes with any dirt on the tiles to then form mud. Apart from that, facilities are fairly clean, and the camp kitchen is well equipped. Bird watchers will thrill at the sight of native parrots swarming the campgrounds for a feed late in the afternoon.

The accommodation is in a quite part of town well away from the railway line and adjacent to the golf club. It is big: lots of cabins, lots of sites all a little bit close together: it was not full when we stayed so not so bad at that time. It is well maintained: a good camp kitchen ,excellent amenities - ensuite style (for which a key deposit is required). No wifi that we were made aware of.

Being directed to one site and given the key for another was the start of a very ordinary stay. The park is old and poorly maintained. Our facilities were dreadful- a third we’re out of order and the rest not clean. Closed so don’t have to clean them? Shower curtains haven’t been washed since they were put up years ago. Daily cleaning mainly meant the bins were emptied- no wipe downs or mopping.
Cost $45 a night - such a rip off.

Very neat and tidy park. Staff very accommodating had some car trouble and they were very helpful. Cabins spotless and roomy. Great water pressure . Roomy parking and central to town. Can recommend. Good size fridge in room and comfy bed.

Absolutely great experience from the moment we entered reception till we were on our amazing drive through site. The amenities block was so clean and the staff really friendly. Live music was on every second nigh and if you love a game of golf, well the course adjoins the park! What more could you want

The small cabin was comfortable enough, but there is some drawbacks.

No oven, means everything is microwaved or fried.
Doesn’t help when the range hood doesn’t work, so you need to turn air conditioning on the beat the smoke detector going berserk.

You can use the bed as a lounge for television; but you get what you pay for!

Maintenance is a vote failure here; so ask for a fully maintained cabin.

Not the most enjoyable week I’ve had.

This was had on a trip north. We booked ahead. The staff was pleasant. And this was the first time we had a key for the amenities with a key refundable cost. We have had coded amenities on our travels. Emerald is a great provincial city with lots to see. Next time!

We have stayed at Emerald Cabin & caravan park 3 times in 2 years, we will be back early September for another stay.
Facilities are aging but clean, sites are big enough for todays vans. Staff are super, very friendly. Checkin was early, and easy.
Thanks
