We booked this motel last minute on our way back from our tour of western Queensland. This is the best motel we've ever stayed in. I'm a fussy traveler but this place exceeded my expectations. It's so nice to see somewhere that pays attention to detail to ensure their guests comfort. From the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, to the convenience of the kitchenette equipped with everything right down to salt and pepper sachets, to the fact that there was actually enough towel hooks for the number of occupants the room can facilitate and real hand-wash in the bathroom and also adequate seating both inside and out. On top of this comfy beds, a quiet location, an onsite laundry and an outdoor communal undercover seating area. My only wish is that more motels were like this!! Well done to owners/ management, this place is a true gem! Really feels like home away from home.

Stayed here for 4 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. This motel is definitely the best in Emerald. Situated just off the main road so there is minimal traffic noise yet so close to the main street of town that all the hotels and restaurants are within walking distance.
The whole presentation of the motel is exceptional, very modern and with perfectly manicured entrance and garden areas. Set out in an L shape with two separate wings, we stayed in room 15 which is in the back wing, furthest away from the entrance. In this section there is a large undercover barbeque area with tables and seats for relaxing under and watching the incredible lightning storms in the evening. Plenty of parking space, unmarked pebble pave driveway and even car windscreen wash buckets and squeegees for guests use, which I've not come across anywhere else. That is a wonderful touch.
All the rooms have a slat screen in front to reduce the effect of the afternoon sun and also helps with privacy. The room was a double which had a single and a double bed. Upon entering I was met with an exceptionally clean and wonderful space. The first thing I noticed was that the ceilings were very high which gives an overall feeling of space. With a kitchenette which includes a small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster. kettle, coffee pod machine, crockery and cutlery, coffee pods, tea coffee sugar salt and pepper. There are also two bottles of water in the fridge as well as a long life milk (and the availability of fresh milk as well). Also, the kitchen has a separate sink as well which is brilliant because there is nothing worse than washing up dishes or refilling the kettle from the bathroom sink. A very large walk in shower with a smartly designed tap on the opposite wall to the shower head which means the temperature can be how you want it before you get in. Very well thought out.
I've got to say that this is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Not a mark anywhere. Very well laid out, very comfortable. The blackout blinds work very well and the windows are tinted. Airconditioning is spot on for comfort. And the insect screens on the windows are dust free. I've never been anywhere that have had screens as clean as these.
The only thing I noticed that needed attention was that the sliding door into the bathroom didn't lock because it needed a slight alignment.
Overall, this motel is fantastic. Staff are friendly and personable and the prices are good, very well worth the money spent.

A new motel with great facilities. It is well located being a short walk to the CBD. Room was extremely well furnished with a recliner arm chair as well as a settee.It is a small motel of 9 units located in a culdesac away from the traffic noise.

Everything about this motel feels 'quality'. Landscaping and presentation, room design and equipment. I know it's a silly thing but we saw them washing the beautiful bedspreads! We stay at a lot of motels and always figure the bedspreads are not the cleanest, but to see them being washed was brilliant. We noticed the rubber floor mat for the shower stored in the vanity for the less sure-footed (me), the coffee machine, the surge protector (which included usb ports) on the powerpoint , the security mesh on the window and the bucket and squeegee placed outside filled with water for your wind screen. There were extra towels, pillows and the spare blanket was stored in its own zipped plastic bag in the cupboard (dust protection). All this for a budget price. Having found this place, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The Information Centre and the Van Gogh park is across the road.

My husband has a disability, so we stayed in a variety of accessibility rooms on our recent trip to Winton. Emerald Park Motel had the best facility out of all the places we stayed. Staff were very friendly; the room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is very handy to a variety of eating places but as the room was fully equipped with crockery and a microwave, we were able to stay in the room to eat which is definitely easier when travelling with someone who has a physical disability. We're booked again for next year!!

Simply outstanding. What a find! As reported in other reviews, the rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, as is the entire property. Special thanks to the owner, Kay, for looking after us so well. Our bookings were last minute after the Spirit of the Outback terminated in Emerald due to poor weather. Kay went out of her way to make us feel welcome and happily did a half-day rate for us, so that we could keep the rooms until the train was ready to depart at 5:00PM the following afternoon. Can also add that the rooms are very quiet.

I normally do not write reviews but after staying at the Emerald Park Motel I felt compelled to write one. Over the years we have stayed at many motels. Our stay at this motel was exceptional. It was the most spotless and well presented motel that we have stayed at in many years. All I can say is congratulations to the friendly and helpful management/reception . We can fully recommend this motel for anyone who is looking for outstanding motel accommodation at a very reasonable rate.

An immaculate property, presents as new, very clean and tidy. Welcoming hosts, with fresh milk for your coffee or tea on arrival, down to the car window washing buckets which were so handy for washing down dirty road trip cars. The showers were beautiful, and the kitchenette really great for a family on the go. Directly across from the beautiful main park in Emerald. Excellent and highly recommended. Thankyou.

A hidden gem. We were impressed from the moment we walked into reception. We arrived at property early and the owner insisted she needed to inspect our room to make sure it was ready. The room was Spotlessly clean. A Well appointed,good sized room with very comfortable bed. Large ensuite. A lot of thought went into room and amenities to provide for the needs of travellers. Good parking. We have been travelling for last 2 weeks and this property was by far the best we have stayed at. Excellent value.

The Towels were so soft & thick, the shower was huge, the bed was comfy, the arm chair was SO COMFY with foot rest- I tried to find the brand name. Impressed to find an electric fry pan & enough implements to make our dinner.
Staff very helpful & obliging & gave us a room where we could park our car with trailer attached.
I would definitely stay here again.
