This establishment was a surprise, it is huge, with lots of different spaces. Even has an outside all weather pool table. The food was excellent, the little boys really enjoyed their nuggets and chips but the generous portions beat them. The free kids entertainment packs that came with their meals kept them occupied for quite a while Indie, the bar attendant/waitress was very friendly and helpful, and looked after our needs very well. It is the kind of place that one should visit at different times and different days. However, if you are a gambler, then you must go elsewhere, there are no Pokies.

The atmosphere of the pub was great .. but seriously let down by the quality of the meals. We sent ours back as they were both cold, unfortunately even warmed up they weren’t that tasty. I joked that if I wanted cold, lumpy mash potato I can have it at home anytime ;)

Accom was basic and although small, actually quite comfortable for an overnighter. No accessible power point in the room was a pain for charging phones etc. Showers were clean enough and hot. If you don’t mind shared amenities this place is fine. We stayed on a Monday night and didn’t notice any noise from the bar or other travellers ... not sure what a Saturday night would be like?

They serve Kilkenny on draught which is awesome but the food (based upon my meal) was shocking. I had a beef brisket, which did not resemble any beef brisket I've ever had, dry potato mash and boring minimal frozen veg. CRAP.
I know for certain I will never eat here again, drink Kilkenny? Yes.

Came as tourist to just look through the building. Los of authentic spaces within the front bar which are typical of village pubs in Ireland. Out the back, a large dance floor looks as though it would go off. Lots of memorabilia of Irish bands on the walls. Restaurant and Guinness available.

Had room to stay only for overnight. Staff did not have time to show our room so just gave us keys and asked us to find our room by ourselves. Bed was broken in the room and sheets were dirty. Had to use my own blankets as blanket in the room was dirty and very rough. Good value for money but service and cleaning, rooms are not to standard at all

We stopped in here for lunch whist on holidays. From the moment we opened the doors we knew we had found a gem. The amount of detail that has gone into this place is amazing and reminds us of the pubs in England (haven't got to Ireland yet). It had a really great feel and the staff were lovely. There was a good range of beer on tap and the food was great and not too over priced.

This is a beautifully appointed Irish pub which has been refurbished to resemble, in some part, an Irish village. At the moment it is decked out for Christmas and looks warm and inviting in every nook and cranny. The food is very tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating.

We booked it because of the price and ,yes, its not the Hilton. However, for the price, it was fine, and we'll stay there again. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The room and the shared amenites were clean and nicely kept. There was a small guest lounge upstairs with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

We could hear the music in the distance, but it was muffled and didn't keep us awake.

The linen and towels were good quality. They have double rooms and bunk rooms - not sure about singles. Everything is freshly painted.

The price of the meals downstairs was quite expensive but there are half a dozen other eating options within 100 metres.

Really, it was fine if you don't want to pay big dollars.
