Stayed here for 1 night only ot os on outskirts of town close to hospital The rooms were clean with comfortable bed. Serves great breakfast nightly meals are charged back from Tavern across road A stay here is recommended.

Stayed here for an overnighter. Met by Gail who was friendly and most helpful. Room spotlessly clean with the hint of bleach still lingering. Slept like a log to by woken, by the ever smiling Gail, at the designated time of 0800, with a beautifully cooked and presented breakfast. As I left Gail is cleaning the rooms. This lady does it all!!! I hope the owners know what a gem they have in Gail, as at this raypte she will wear out! Top motel at a very reasonable rate run by the fabulous Gail

Fairly priced for what it is - a clean and secure place to rest on your way to somewhere else. The room comes with a foxtel tv guide, but I couldn't find any pay tv channels just the regular free to air channels. It was a cold night but the room was kept warm by the reverse cycle a/c even though it's rather noisy when running.
The general area is suburban and the motel is set back far enough from the main drag that road noise is not audible. For the $100 price tag it was still value for money. Breakfast was pretty much what you expect from motels of this budget, not too bad at all.

We have been traveling for a month staying in cabins in caravan parks but unfortunately we couldn’t get into the one in Emerald so just by looking on the internet I came across this motel and thought well it’s just for one night but let me just say that this place is extremely friendly and immaculately clean in fact it is the cleanest place we have stayed our travels and the bed is the most comfortable one we’ve had all monthI would highly recommend this hidden little gem

This was an overnight stop for us. Rooms were on the smaller side but very clean. Good little kitchenette with everything needed. Quiet even though it's parallel to main highway. Very friendly staff and would stay again if passing through.

Stayed at the Overflow motel for 2 nights in Feb. Very friendly owner who is a very genuine guy. We stayed with our 2 dogs & it wasnt a problem for Darryl, he was very helpful & accomodating. The room was very neat & clean with everything we needed. Very much enjoyed our stay, highly recommend & we will be back.

Stopped here for one night with my husband, 3 year old and 2 month old on our way back to the sunshine coast. On arrival I was given a warm friendly welcome by the motel owner. The room was spacious, well presented and very clean. The kitchenette was equipped with your basic kitchenware and microwave. The room, queen bed and single bed was perfect for our little family. Sheltered car parking is located right in front of your room. Free wifi is available.
The motel is located in a quiet area away from the busy road so no loud traffic noise. It is walking distance to the local hospital, woolworths, restaurants and other shops. Definitely stay here when in Emerald it's affordable, comfortable and will not disappoint.

We stayed overnight - again it is an older style of unit and quite small. However the rooms are well maintained, the bed was really comfortable, had the basic kitchen requirements to make a meal, excellent shower with tons of hot water, reverse cycle heater which we had to use for the cold morning. Overall more than acceptable for an overnight stop. The situation is off the main road and near the hospital if necessary. We found it quiet and secure overnight with undercover car parking directly outside our unit.

Great motel. Probably the cleanest and most welcome kept even if few years old. But greatest thing is the price. Under $100. It even has carport. Owner very friendly. Just down road from hospital. Have to say best value I have seen in Qld.

Owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to put everything. Good location with shops just down the road. Patio area was nice. Room was quiet even though motel is off a highway. Would stay here again.
